Pleasant surprise
For my photography needs super priced lens are overkill. This lens was a bargain, very compatible with my Full Frame Sony camera. It often nailed focus using back button focus during travel, street and landscape photography.

Accurate AF and Sharp
Small and lightweight with a very small price tag. I am an amateur and I use Sony A7Riii. Performance is beyond my expectation of a budget lens. Autofocus is consistently accurate and images are really sharp. AFC is fast and snappy. AFS is slower but good enough for me, as I only use this lens for scenes.My copy came with firmware V1.0.9. I upgraded it to V1.1.2 which was released on 2024 Jan 5. I didn’t test the lens that much before the upgrade. So I can’t tell the difference. I am very satisfied with the lens performance now. I couldn’t figure out the upgrade process so I went to YouTube for demos. Once knowing the steps, it’s easy.

Best 157$ dollars I ever spent on a new lens.
Of course to a degree you get what you pay for, and it's not a G Master Lol - But MAN! I was shockingly surprised how nice this lens really is! Absolutely worth every penny. I was able to use this as a "vlog" type of lens where it's wide enough to get my face and background in, also a great landscape lens. It's honestly sharp for what it is, and you can also update the firmware in it by using a USB-C - Anyways, if you're thinking about it and don't HAVE TO buy the biggest best lens, this is it
