Vax Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Solution, 1.5 L

Good name and good product

Bought this to go with my new Vax W90-RU-B Carpet Cleaner and have to say I'm very impressed with this solutions performance, it has worked wonders on my carpet. Whenever I want to use my Vax Carpet Cleaner, I just have to fill it up with warm tap water (has to be warm to help the drying process) and 40ml of this solution and I'm ready to go. The Vax machine and this solution have left my carpets looking like brand new again. A couple of our family and friends have asked us whether we have got new carpets, thats how good its left them looking. My carpets look cleaner and smell fresher. Although I was disgusted in myself for letting our carpets get in that way, as the water was pretty much black when I was emptying the dirty water tank, so I will defiantly be keeping on top of that from now on. This carpet solution is able to remove all stains that other cheaper cleaning solutions could not remove. A family member borrowed our Vax Carpet Machine for their house, and bought some cheaper solution, and I have to say, there carpets do not look anywhere as cleaner as ours. This Vax Carpet Solution also leaves no sticky residue, smells and it is safe to use on all carpet types. Hopefully the bottle lasts me for many months to come. I'm very happy with its performance, and would highly recommend this solution to anyone who has a carpet cleaner.

I purchased this at the same time as a VAX carpet washer. This product is very expensive compared to what can be bought locally but put into perspective and accounting for the fact that it contains enough solution to clean several carpets its probably worth it on balance. The results were excellent with the carpets looking clean and bright. It also worked really well on a very good quality 100% man made carpet too. Only the price stops me giving it 5 stars.

So far this has brought two carpets back from the dead! It's a tad expensive but does a good job, so is worth the expense. One thing I feel would benefit this product is some kind of fragrance. I am aware there is an orange scented version, but other fragrences would be nice and surely would not add much to the cost of the product. A big 10L size would also be good. Not tried it on any upholstery but I should imagine the result would be the same as on a carpet.

Borrowed a Vax carpet cleaner off my sister, Purchased the Vax ultra+ carpet and upholstery cleaner solution 1.4L from Amazon, £5 cheaper than local stores. Replaced carpet throughout flat 8yrs ago, has never been walked on with shoes. The night before use of the Vax cleaner I somehow managed knocked a whole cup of tea off my coffee table. Mopped up with kitchen roll and thought oh well I am cleaning the carpets in the morning anyway. It works quite well to freshen up the carpets but for actually cleaning them not so great. As for cleaning the tea stain from the previous night it took several attempts to get the stain out. Previously when I had accidental spillages on the carpet including tea. I have used Vanish power foam and it seems to work better at getting small soiled spots out of the carpet. To clean two rooms 15'x13'and 14'x12' one hallway 10'x8' and a 6' rug it took the whole 1.4L of cleaning solution. Does the job but not as good as expected.

I decided to buy this product for my Vax carpet cleaner after the sample received with it had finished. Great product. Left my carpet really clean and almost as new. Won't remove stubborn stains completely but if treated with a good stain remover before the shampoo, would remove no problem. It also leaves my carpet with a mild nice scent so great if you have pets! Highly recommend. The only downside is that you need to use a lot of this product neat unlike the Vax aaa shampoo where it needs to be diluted. But having used both products, the Vax ultra seems to work better than the aaa.
