I bought this on the recommendation of our Equine Masseuse, Our ex-racer has back issues and this is one of the few things he LOVES. makes him so relaxed, helps get rid of knots under the skin and does wonders for his mobility! I mean it does make your hands tingle the first few times you use it so i would recommend using padded gloves when you do just for your own comfort. The ball is Firm and very robust, I can see this lasting a long time. For the price i would HIGHLY recommend anyone with a horse gets one and use it sparingly just to help mobility in these winter months. Can't fault it!

Very firm spikes. Intact, none of the spikes have fallen off and no evidence that it will break in half like some other reviews. It's okay for rolling in circles but I cannot seem to get the hang of making it go in any other direction. In the future I will probably invest in the rollers with handles as they may be easier for me to use.

Unfortunately, the ball split almost as soon as I started to roll on it to loosen my leg muscles. The spikes are nice and firm to massage out knots, but the seal was defective. I'm hoping the company will read this and look at the photo and send me a replacement - I'd be happy to try the same product again in the hope it was a one off issue with this particular spiky ball.

Was expecting something a bit softer like I’d used at my physio. This one is so hard that it’s incredibly painful to put my weight on it and roll on it.

This was recommended to me by a chiropodist. Helps to stretch tendon in big toe by rolling it under the foot and trying to lift the ball with toes.

It is what it is... a hard ball with spikes on it. For everyone complaining about it not being 'soft' - there's not way a soft ball can work through your stiff tendons and muscles. The toughness is what you need. I bought it because I sit all day at work and my lower back starts to ache. Putting this at the achy-stiff points and rolling around helps a lot. Don't use it on your bare skin though, bit too harsh for that.

Had been looking into what would help with pelvic/hip pain during pregnancy and saw acupressure balls were a suggestion, so glad I gave it a try it works wonders to relieve the muscle aches and aid a better night sleep. Partner also uses it for his bad back (previous slipped disc) and finds it effective.

Je l'ai achetée pour mon bébé, elle n'est pas très souple malheureusement, il se «pique» un peu avec s'il y va trop fort, mais il l'aime bien quand même
