A fantastic air purifier for the price. Wish i had purchased it sooner.
This product has been excellent so far. It runs quietly on the lower modes and has a white noise (which i like) if you crank it up. It feels well-built, and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Air in the room is fresher and sleep quality has also improved. I noticed a difference in air quality within the first day of using it. The design is clean and modern, so it fits in with my room without standing out. Easy to set up and simple to maintain. The night light is a cool feature to have and the vesync app is easy to use and responsive. It allows you to control the various parameters of the machine remotely. Also purchased a blueair 511i max to compare alongside this and it outperformed it superbly. Particle filtration is fantastic. Now see less dust on surfaces. Does seem to help with odours too. Definitely worth the purchase and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable air purifier. Will purchase the larger one when it next goes on offer for our living room.

A quiet, efficient purifier that genuinely makes a difference
I’ve tried several air purifiers over the years, mostly because I suffer from mild allergies and wanted something to improve the air quality in both the bedroom and living areas. The LEVOIT Smart HEPA Air Purifier (Core 200S) has quickly become my favourite — it’s quiet, effective, and genuinely easy to use. I first purchased it for the bedroom, which is about 20m², but it’s rated for rooms up to 64m², so I knew it could handle a living room or study as well. Setup was effortless: unbox, plug in, download the app, and it was ready to go. Connecting to Wi-Fi and Alexa was straightforward, and I love being able to control it from my phone or with a voice command — I can turn it on or off, adjust fan speed, or set a timer without leaving the bed. The purifier is surprisingly quiet, especially on Sleep Mode. Even at night, the white noise is soft and unobtrusive, and it doesn’t disturb sleep. Despite being quiet, it still feels very effective. Within a few days, I noticed less dust settling on surfaces and fewer allergy irritations in the mornings — sneezing and congestion had visibly improved. Smoke from cooking and minor odours disappear quickly, which is a huge bonus for a small kitchen-adjacent space. Changing the filter is simple, and the LEVOIT app reminds me when it’s time, which makes maintenance hassle-free. The design is sleek and modern, so it blends seamlessly into the room without being an eyesore, and the touch controls on the device itself are intuitive if you don’t want to use the app. Overall, this purifier has made a noticeable difference to the air quality in my home. It’s quiet, effective, and easy to control, and it genuinely seems to reduce allergens, dust, and odours. I’d highly recommend the LEVOIT Core 200S to anyone looking for a reliable, user-friendly air purifier that works well for bedrooms or larger rooms alike — it’s a worthwhile investment for comfort, health, and peace of mind.

Good purifier very responsive to particles in the atmosphere
This is a great air purifier and does a good job of removing particles. Machine is very responsive to changes in atmosphere e.g. pollen and will quickly ramp up the fan speed in response until it clears air. Only thing is that it uses the filters quite quickly about 6 months and the replacements are quite pricey

Light, quiet and very effective.
This purifier is better than I expected for the money. Its intuitive to use and the dedicated app makes it even easier. The sleep mode is very quiet. It's light enough to move easily around our house. After a couple of hours our room feels so much fresher.

Easy to use
I bought this not knowing much about air purifiers. The main reason was my 2 year old seemed to get ill quite a bit With one thing or another and coughed during the night so I figured getting one for his room couldn't do any harm ,so I, in fact ,bought 2 as they were reduced. It seems to get good reviews online and wasn't breaking tha bank. Set up was super easy and linking the app was a doddle. I set up a routine whereas it comes on in his room at 1830 and goes off at 0600 with sleep mode and night light. It barely makes a noise. Build quality is good and the controls are easy. The app is basic but functional. Since he has had it in his room we can honestly say he hasn't appeared to be ill of late and no longer coughs through the night. Maybe coincidence or maybe due to this filtering the air? Who's knows, I'll put it down to this gadget doing what it should. We also have one in our room and no longer wake up with a stuffy nose and seem to sleep better throughout the night. Great effective product at a good price. I daresay there are other more expensive products about but this one suits us .

Really works!
The Levoit air purifier was so easy to set up and it was working within a few minutes. I had it on in my bedroom and for the first night in months I didn't cough! I was amazed and wish I'd bought one sooner. I really think it was excellent value for money as it really improved the air quality for me and was so quiet in night mode I couldn't hear it.

Good for small rooms, but ignore the “Smart” label and coverage claims
I have mixed feelings about the Levoit Core 200S. While it functions well enough mechanically in specific scenarios, the marketing claims are significantly overblown compared to the actual specs, leading to a middle-of-the-road 3-star experience. The Bad: Misleading Coverage Claims: The manufacturer claims this covers up to 64m², which is pure fantasy. With a CADR of around 152, the effective room size to achieve the recommended 5 ACH (Air Changes per Hour) is actually less than 20m². If you are buying this for a large room (60m²+), you will be 100% unsatisfied. It simply cannot cycle that much air effectively, turning it into little more than an expensive brown noise producer. Noise Levels: The claim of 24dB in Sleep Mode is not achievable in my experience. It measures more like 40+dB right next to the unit and remains around 30+dB even 2 meters away. It is not nearly as silent as advertised. Not Truly “Smart”: I struggle to see why “Smart” is in the title. There are no built-in air quality sensors, which means there is no Auto Mode. You have to blindly trust it’s doing something or buy expensive external monitors to verify. Basic App: The app integration is essentially just a digital remote. You can change modes, set a timer, or schedule it, but since there are no sensors, you get zero data or insights about your air quality. The Good (Why it gets 3 stars): Silent Operation (Beeping): Thankfully, unlike other brands (specifically Philips), this device does not emit annoying, loud beeps every time you press a button or change a setting via the app. It changes modes silently, which is a huge plus for bedroom use. Clean App: The VeSync app connects flawlessly and works well. It also respects privacy better than competitors, as it doesn’t demand excessive permissions like precise location just to turn a fan on. Verdict: If you plan to use this in a small room (under 20m²), it might be fine. However, without built-in sensors, you won’t know if you actually need it running. For the advertised large rooms, look elsewhere.
