My daughter started using on of these in OT appointments, and it helped her to keep the paper aligned properly and prevent her writing hand from getting tired as quickly. Initially, I balked at the price, but, after reading reviews for other more cheaply made versions, I narrowed it down to this one and an aluminum version. I was concerned this one might arrive damaged, but it arrived in perfect condition. It feels very sturdy, not brittle and likely to crack or scratch. The carrying strap, clipboard piece, and non-skid feet are all attached securely. The size is bulky to store but perfect for 8.5x12 and larger paper with room to still rest the writing hand.

Absolutely essential for anyone with low tone or easily fatigued from writing. My daughter has Down syndrome and homework is quite a challenge for her regardless. She needs the right positioning in order to have a chance at the best success during her work. The slated board provides great positioning for her wrist and reduces fatigue. The clip at the top of the board is big and strong enough to hold many pages of work. She also loves the handle so she can carry her work board to a new space.My only suggestion for a 2.0 would be a pocket in the back for papers and other supplies. Great product!

The recipient is in a wheelchair with a tray.This holds the paper in place without paper moving. The board stays still on the tray.Very happy with this purchase. Holds a standard size paper so that the paper does not go off the board. No part of the standard paper is off the clipboard.Excellent !!

This product came chipped on the corner but I kept it i was not a big deal. Now on March 9th the clip has broken that holds the paper. I am not able to return it as Feb 28th was the last day for returns so I guess I out 54.00. I would not recommend as the clip broke and I was the one putting the papers under it so I know I was gentle with it everytime and I had only been used 4 days a week .

Very sturdy and well-made product. My son has difficulty writing (and he's a lefty) and the slant board has been a huge help for him. It's wide, so it's perfect for those horizontal handwriting practice sheets they get in Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten. It doesn't slide, it seems to have a good balance.

Perfect! Exactly what my son needed to help his writing. He has cerebellar hypoplasia and has been using writing tools at school and I got this one to do work with him at home. The first one delivered was cracked but Amazon replaced immediately with no issue.

This is a nice lap desk for my child to draw or do homework on. However, it's way overpriced for what it is.

This board arrived totally broken to pieces.The packaging was non existent. I expect better packaging with items like these, especially for something this expensive.
