Chicken Coop door actuator
I use one of these to open and close the door to my hen house daily, and it's perfect. The built-in limit switches work great with my DIY relay-logic. I used one for 4 years outdoors (under a roof) before it began to slow down, and just recently replaced it. Considering the price, I highly recommend this for light-duty applications where you don't mind the sound.

VERY SATISFIED. Using it for a snow-thrower chute deflector.
Bought this linear actuator to control the chute angle on my tractor snow blower. Works perfectly for that. This first unit "failed" after the first season due to water leaking past the seal and into the unit, causing it to short out and pop the fuse. That was my fault for not installing it inverted like many others advised (I never listen) or with a boot of some kind to keep water out. So I opened it up, drained the little bit of moisture, dried it out and packed the internals with some dielectric grease in an effort to keep moisture out. It worked another 2 seasons perfectly. At this price, it's still worth it even if I have to replace it every 5 or 6 years - if I have to. Being able to control that angle is a game changer. If you know, you know.***3 YEAR UPDATE***After 3 years of brutal use and abuse on my tractor snow thrower chute deflector (lots of moisture and wicked vibration), this actuator finally gave up the ghost. Actually, it does still work but started popping the fuse - I think because of water intrusion again. I can probably take it apart and drain any moisture (if it has any) and repack it with dielectric grease like I did before but for now, at this price, I'm just gonna buy a new one (or two).I've been VERY HAPPY with this unit. I plan to invert the new one to reduce the chance of water getting past the ram seal and maybe add a rubber boot or cover of some kind. I've seen kits for snow thrower chutes with rubber boots included but they are crazy expensive - like almost 2 hundos - no thanks. This bad boy does the job well and for this great price, if I have to replace it even every 2 or 3 years - no problem. Just 2 nuts and a quick rewire and boom - back in business.I'll be sure to post an update if/when this next one dies since this next one will be mounted inverted making it much less likely that water will get past that seal. If I'm able to revive this first failed unit again, I'll be sure to mention that in the next update. Wish me luck!

Works great, but loud
The actuator does what it says it should. Very loud mechanical / motor sound during operation. It would be nice if it made a little less noise.

Great for a snowblower
I'm using it for a tractor snowblower chute deflector. It may only be rated for 22 pounds but it works great. The speed is great @ 1 inch/25mm per second. I installed it upside down to prevent water intrusion. I'm on my 2nd winter with it and no problems. I just bought another tractor and it needs the same mod done to its snowblower so it appears ill be buying another one.

A good quality reasonable strong actuator.
I use this as part of electric steering on a Kart Trolley. It works just fine for that application. Manually controlled with a DTDP switch, Momentary on-off-on

Great device!!!
The product is excellent perfect for my use. By adjusting the lever arms length I was able to take advantage of the internal limit switch feature.. my only issue is with the drawings. The Chinese made up weird fractions eg 3/17 " when you do the math the decimal works out close. Better use mm or decimals. Good for a laugh...

Piece of junk
This is my second one and both stopped working very quickly

No brackets
The actuator works great, but I didn’t receive the mounting brackets. These brackets are integral to the project I am working on, and they are not available at my local Home Depot/Lowes. Not sure what to do with them now.
