Really good addition to windows
I have a historic house with windows made in 1910. They are casement windows and work pretty well, but when I noticed some dust coming in from the bottom I decided to try to seal it. This product is so easy to use and what a job it did. Sticks really well and in addition to stopping dust from coming in.....it makes the windows so much quieter. I didn't realize how much sound was coming through that small bottom gap. I just ordered more to finish the rest of my windows.

Works!
Works everywhere, except in my bathroom. My daughter steams it up and it makes the tape loosen, since the tub is next to the window. Other than that it is great elsewhere in the house.

The Perfect Solution for Drafty Doors and Windows
The Weather Stripping Seal Strip Tape is exactly what I needed to tackle the annoying drafts around my home. The D-type foam design is brilliant because it compresses easily when the door or window is closed, creating a tight, custom seal that really blocks out the wind and cold. Before installing this, I could actually feel the temperature drop whenever I walked by my front door, but now the area stays consistently comfortable. It’s a simple, low-cost fix that makes a noticeable difference in your home's energy efficiency and overall comfort level. One of the best things about this specific tape is the quality of the self-adhesive backing. I’ve used cheaper weather stripping in the past that started peeling off within a week, but this stuff stays firmly in place. The glue is strong enough to bond securely to wood, metal, and plastic frames, yet it’s forgiving enough that you can reposition it slightly during the initial installation if you don’t get it perfectly straight. It saves a lot of frustration knowing that once you press it down, it’s going to stay there through rain, humidity, and constant use. The material itself is high-quality EPDM foam, which feels much more durable than standard sponge tapes. It’s flexible and soft, so it doesn't interfere with the latching mechanism of the door, but it’s dense enough to provide a great sound barrier as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it also helped dampen the noise from the street outside. It cuts easily with a pair of household scissors, allowing you to get a precise fit in corners and around hinges without any gaps. If you’re looking for a quick DIY project to weatherproof your house before winter or to keep the AC in during the summer, this is a 5-star product. It’s easy to install, highly effective, and built to last. It’s a small investment that pays for itself in reduced heating and cooling bills. I’m incredibly satisfied with how well it performed—it truly is the exact solution I was looking for to seal up my home.

Okay but not great.
Sticks to metal storm door and seals well, preventing air from the outside coming in. Does not stick to the wood door frame where it can be more inconspicuous and doesn't mar the looks of the storm door.

flexible and compresses nicely
This weather stripping seal tape does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The D-type foam is flexible and compresses nicely, creating a tight seal around doors and window frames without making them hard to open or close. The self-adhesive backing sticks well to clean surfaces and hasn’t peeled or shifted since installation.

I have installed a strip of this on the bottom edge of my door where there was draft coming in. That's months ago and so far no issues it stays in place as expected. This has reduced the amount of draft that was getting in under the door greatly. I have next to test this on the garagedoor but I suspect it will be the same result. It's flexible, seals well, decent thickness and size as well.

I found this really easy to work with. It cuts to size with ease with some good scissors, and once in place adheres really well. After months of cold and damp it is still in place everywhere I've used it. I needed to make a couple of attempts at placement a few times, but it lifted quite easily if I got to it quickly and stuck back down as if it were the first time. We had some shocking gaps around some of our windows and doors, and careful placement of this stripping has made such a difference. Our kitchen actually felt warm this winter and for the first time for as long as I can remember it has been a room where people spent time and sat together. The only reason for dropping a star is because the backing sometime tore as I removed it from the adhesive surface during application. It is very difficult to remove the remaining backing once this happens - especially if you are removing it whilst sticking the strip in place.
