FELIWAY Cystease, for stress-related bladder problems in cats Capsules, 30 Count (Pack of 2)

This product has been a life saver for us. We were recommended it from our vets for our rescue cat that was urinating outside the litter tray. He is an anxious cat and the vet’s ruled out an infection or stones but he had a high PH urine causing cystitis. We tried a few other things first and eventually this product. After a few days on these we noticed a massive difference, he was alot calmer, using his litter tray more often and his PH returned to normal after a repeat urine test. He eats it fine sprinkled on his food. Great product, that worked really well for us!

This really does work when your cat has cystitis! I buy it for my cat every year or two because he seems to get it on occasion. Where he can't stop peeing and nothing comes out! Its so sad to watch because they just keep going back and forth to the litter tray! Or they have slight blood in their urine... Be careful though, you must make sure the cat is acting the same and eating and drinking as normal, you'll know the signs when your cat has had it a few times... A tip is to make tuna ice cubes too, its a way of getting more water into their system to flush out the infection. Switch to wet food too until the little fella is over it :) I went to my vet the first time and it cost me £40+ to get the tablets... Now I recognise it and buy they myself, these are the ones the vet prescribed to me. Same quantity and everything! Saves me a fortune and works with my cat every time. I would definitely recommend! The bottle was sealed, with a BB date of 04/23. I was looking at Protexin Cystophan, but these were a better price for 30 (less so now), and have exactly the same ingredients in the same quantities. I also bought Vet's Best Urinary Tract support and their Multi System support, for my cat's flu-like symptoms. He's had a "blocked bladder" (as per the vet) 3 times in past, could not urinate at all, and had to have a catheter. Recently, he again could not urinate, but this time, it was a "mucus plug" for which the vet had no explanation, except his history of bladder problems. After having a catheter, he was later allowed home on pain meds, but seemed to still have problems urinating, and was constantly licking himself. Based on the reviews and people saying vets had recommended these (or Cystophan), I thought I'd try them. My vet (PDSA) only recommended special food they sell (dry, with loads of grains, although they said wet was better!), horribly expensive and he wouldn't touch it.. This defo seems to help, and is far easier than trying to get him to eat special food he doesn't like. He's no longer licking himself all the time, and seems to be able to urinate well again after 1 week on these, and the Vet's Best urinary paste. I open the capsules, and mix the powder with the paste, as that's strongly flavoured and he likes it. These have no flavour, whereas the Cystophan has chicken flavour, so might get those in future.. putting these on food might not always work, as he might not eat it all, and I don't want to make him swallow them whole, as they're not small. He's big, so am giving him 2 per day, then will move to one per day. It's early days, but considering I thought I'd have to take him back to the vet, am happy so far! Bear in mind that this is not a miracle cure, although they seem to help prevent a recurrence of bladder issues in many cats.. which might be considered a miracle in some cases. If you want to follow Feliway's other recommendations for your cat (on box, in pic 3), I would buy the Beaphar plug-in. Had a noticeable improvement in behaviour, whereas the Feliway multi-cat plug-in seemed to make no difference. Of course, as I'm using 2 products, I can't be sure which is helping, but think I will stop the paste, after a while, and see what happens.

This product has so far changed my cat for the better. It's only a couple days. Before it was impossible to get my cat to take tablets, oil supplements or even take to the vet. But thankfully these capsules were easy to administer into her food and she takes it without hesitation. Before she was lethargic and peeing in different places besides her litter tray, and even on the second day of taking these she has cheered up, become more active, more cuddly, more confident and even changed her bathroom habits to going in her litter. Would buy again and even recommend this to others. It's also much cheaper than going to the vet and getting antibiotics (my little girl does not take tablets easy and would get her even more upset).

Definitely eases UTI and idiopathic cystitis in my cat.

Did the job. My boy went from randomly peeing all over the place to peeing back in the litter box within a week. Quick tip on what also helped, paper cat litter pellets helped soften the transition so he didn’t still associate the original pain with the litter box gravel.

Arrived promptly (next day prime). The capsules are quite large so my little cat wouldn't swallow whole but they can be easily separated and the powder can then be mixed into food. There is a lot of powder in each capsule so i didn't think she'd fall for that but there's been absolutely no problem, she's lapped up her food with it in. Also had an instant effect, she was struggling to wee and was very stressed but the same day, just a few hours later she was chilled and seemed to be feeling a lot better. Just a few days in to using these but the difference is great. would really recommend them and would buy again if needed

This seems to help my cat with cystsitis and prevents her weeing in unwanted places or leaking a bit in her sleep. She is an old girl bless her! Worth it for its calming effect and the prevention of finding smelly wee patches around the house.

Mon chat de 14 ans a toujours eu des faiblesses au niveau de son système urinaire. Depuis un récent cambriolage pendant lequel il était présent, il est devenu plus stressé et se crée des cystites à répétition. J'ai tenté ce produit pour remplacer les médicaments vétérinaires très chers et je voulais quelque chose de plus doux pour son système digestif. Résultat, il ne se lèche plus à outrance le bas ventre (c'était si frénétique qu'il s'en arrachait les poils), ne souffre plus d'infection urinaire et en plus il est plus détendu. Je conseille !

buon prodotto , ho un gatto che ha avuto esiti dopo un incidente e purtroppo perde urine. spero che col tempo si risolva il problema e che queste pillole lo aiutino. Consegna nei limiti previsti e imballaggio perfetto

These saved my cats urinary problem before it became a major issue. They say not a long term product, however I had my cat on them for 6 months straight no issues. Helped him pee easily, and more. Will have to re purchase a bottle, he's been out for a few months now.

My cat developed FIC a few months ago and has had a few scary flares since. I did some research on the best products alongside prescription food etc & came across an overwhelming amount of recommendations for Cytease. I give one capsule daily in my cat’s wet food with probiotics & dilute with water and I truly think there’s been a huge difference. So far he has not had a flare since being on this and I’m keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way. Anyone that deals with an FIC kitty knows how scary it can get during flares - I would HIGHLY recommend this product. I wish there were an option to buy it in bulk. It’s easy to pop open to dispense on food, and seems to have no side effects + is generally very safe for your cats to take. I asked my vet first before giving this however when doing so I was told by my vet it’s a great product!

Meine 12 jährige Katze aus dem Tierheim ist anfällig für stressbedingte idiopathische Cystitis ( ohne Bakterien,ohne Steine,ohne Kristalle im Urin ) Obwohl sie bereits über 2 Jahre bei mir lebt, empfindet sie selbst kleinste Veränderungen als Stress : Sturm, Gewitter, Staubsauger, Türklingel, Geräusche, ab und zu Besuch. Da meine Tierärztin keinen organischen Grund finden konnte, empfahl sie eine Cystease-Kur zur Stärkung der Blasenwand. Das Produkt ist sehr leicht anwendbar, die Kapseln lassen sich gut öffnen und das Pulver kann man unauffällig unter das Nassfutter mischen, es ist absolut geruchslos und wird deshalb vollständig gefressen. Ich bin von der Wirksamkeit des Produkts überzeugt, es können aber auch am Zusammenspiel mit folgenden geänderten Bedingungen liegen: Umstellung auf Schalen-Toiletten ohne Rand mit niedrigem Einstieg, 2 Toiletten mehr in der Wohnung an geschützten Plätzen verteilt, mit Krankenunterlagen darunter, wenn mal was danebengeht. Das alles konnte ich unauffällig in meiner 52qm Wohnung einrichten und seit 6 Wochen passieren keine Malheure mehr ( bzw. nur minimale, weil bei flachen Schalentoiletten ohne Rand mal ne Kleinigkeit über das Klo hinaus auf die "Moltex" geht)
