Really worth having
This review is for the 2nd one in the series - 2nd edition! I now see there is a first one and have ordered it.A lot has been said about the ‘10 Mins being good if short on time’. But I’d like to flag up - if you like lots of variety in your workouts. This is a useful addition. If you do a warm up and cool down your workout will stretch to nearly 20 - which is not bad. It’s especially good if you are fairly active anyway - do lots of walking/running gym classes etc. but maybe feel you need a little more cardio or a weights session. The ‘Lift’ workout here can be very easy - if you use low weights - but if you increase them you can really get a good workout in a short space of time. I think exercise and working out is about what else you are doing that week - and just ensuring you get enough cardio, weights or stretching. I also like to do a quick workout first thing to set my day up.This one covers HIIT (10 mins of this is fine - it’s designed to be a fast workout) Hardcore - would go well with any other workout - if you wanted to do 2. Lift (my favorite) Yoga - I’ve not done this for a while and forget it but I really don’t like to see yoga done with shoes on and as a gym routine. I like my yoga holistic. But I must try it again. I’m not sure I have done the ‘animal style’ one! Must try it.Yep. It’s good and I have another one to look forward to - the original one.

Another killer DVD from JM!
I'm a huge fan of Jillian Michaels, with her 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30 and Shred it with Weights being my absolute favourite. I worked out religiously to these 3 before my 2nd pregnancy. I'm now getting back into shape after having my 2nd child 6 months ago. I want results fast, so have decided to exercise morning and evening, 4-5 times a week.I bought 10 Minute BT so that I have a little more cardio in my workouts. I sometimes feel that there's perhaps not enough in the DVDs mentioned above - more strength training (which is fab!). I have just completed the cardio burn section, and am out of breath and very sweaty! I am going to do this, followed by the booty section, which will tone legs, too. I went through the other sections, and will probably not do the kick boxing nor calisthenics.JM is very motivating, never cheesy (Davina McCall), and always explains how to do the moves correctly. However, parts of these workouts are fast, so I would say you need to be reasonably fit before attempting them, otherwise you might spend too much time trying to work out how to do them.Jillian looks absolutely amazing in this DVD! Sometimes I feel she looks a little too 'ripped' for my liking, but not in this one. She looks more curvy, but still incredibly toned and fit. Also, the girls that work with her are in great shape too (not too muscular).I cannot wait to get started, using this along with my other JM DVDs for lots of variety. If you want to feel like you're dying after a workout, and want results fast, then step away from the Davina McCall DVDs, and get yourself JM ones!

Not for the faint-hearted, but if Jillian Michaels is going to give you a 10 minute workout, you know it's going to be tough.
A great DVD - if used smart.- Use it as a cardio supplement after a resistance workout- Use it as a resistance supplement before a cardio workout- Stack a few workouts together for a 30-minute session. It doesn't matter how hard you work, if you stick to just 10 minutes a day you won't lose weight and your skill isn't likely to improve very much, either. Having said that, if you only have the time for a long workout two or three times a week, this is a great DVD to sneak into a few other days to keep you moving. That said, it's also a great DVD on its own. Made up of 5 10-minute workouts in a variety of formats - Pilates, kickboxing, body weight training and so on - there's lots to do, and you can stack them up in any order to personalise a routine or complement another workout. You could do 2 workouts, 3, you could repeat one a few times over. You're accountable. But 10 minutes alone, every day for a month, isn't going to cut it, and she makes no suggestions towards the contrary.Jillian Michaels takes no prisoners, so the fact that she's finally provided a DVD of 10-minute workouts means that they are NOT easy. So doing the entire DVD is an option, but it will leave you dead. In a good way. But that also means that, if you do only have time for a 10 minute workout, you will get everything out of it that you possibly can. There's little rest and no wasted time at all. But it's not for beginners. There's little walk-through in order to save time, so if you're new to kickboxing, for example, you're going to struggle.Read my full review on my blog [link in bio]

Classic Jillian - great full body workout
The DVD is made up of 5 x 10 minute workouts which together cover HIIT, upper body, lower body, core and yoga. This gives you a full body workout. It's a lot to do in one session but you can mix and match, do some in the morning and some in the afternoon, or rotate them over 5 days with 1+2+3. 4+5+1, 2+3+4 etcI like that it's not jazzy and over the top. It's just a simple background with the usual two girls showing you advanced and modified versions.

Great to add on to another workout
I had the first edition of this and didn't realise this even existed until I saw it on Amazon the other day. I love the first edition so snapped this up straight away. The DVD has 5 10 minute workouts plus a multi purpose warm up and cool down. I like to do a different one of these every day after my main workout (which will also be a Jillian DVD, just something different that's 30-40 minutes). They keep things interesting and add variety. The workouts aren't incredibly hard but they are tough enough to be challenging. I've added these 5 to my rotation now and am really enjoying them.
