Avoid the summer slipping
As a teacher and parent I think these books are great for helping to avoid the summer slide which comes with the many weeks students are out of school. These books cover a wide range of topics and are geared to where students should be at given the listed grade level on the books. My kids love the short easy lessons, which they learn more about topics they know or something new. The stickers are always a win in our house and they enjoy the outside and getting activate activates at the back of the book. Only down side is that it is based around the American (USA) for a lot of the geography and history but it yet another opportunity for learning.

Perfect to fight the great summer amnesia
It’s so difficult to find summer academic activities in the UK that I have been relying on these American books for a few years now. The exercises won’t take more than 10-15 minutes per day, the pages are colourful and the subjects interesting. It also helps us understand what might not have been understood during term time. I would even say that the kids enjoy it! We do 2 pages every day during the summer holiday week days, and it has helped the kids in the following year every time. Highly recommended!
