Perfect for finishing whiskey, but really fast acting.
Best value and quality for aging spirals. These are 4x longer than other more costly options and two to a pack is even better. I’ve found that a 1 inch section of spiral is all that is needed to finish a 750ml-1L bottle of whiskey. Noticeable color and flavor change inside of 24 hrs and most finishes only require 1-3 days before going too far. I’ve even been able to reuse those small sections 3-4 times with consistent results before having to extend soak time to a week or more. These spirals are still too wide to fit into most bottles, so having a large ball jar or similar container helps as well as straining through a coffee filter to remove any loose specks of spiral that may remain.

Easy Use
The Oak Sprials worked well but I will need to practice more as this was my first time using them and I didnt get the depth of color I do using the chips. Alot less mess with the finishing of my whiskey, which is a nice change. I would give this product a 4 star .

Great product great taste best value for your money I rapid age by putting product in freezer overnight take out during day let it get room temp and freezer again repeat process for a week for rapid age. Will be a continued customer!

These last ages. I just add an inch or two to a gallon batch. They snap off easily.

Good alternative to barrel aging.
I used these to age a homemade Reposado tequila in the bottle. They worked pretty well, considering the limitations.

Quick Bourbon for Ontarian’s during “Tariff” prohibition
Worked very well. I used the heat and cool method to accelerate the process. Heat full mason jars in a pot of water to 160F. Then transfer to freezer for two hours. This expands and contracts the spirals release in the Flavour. I rested this once a day for a weak and I had some tasty Bourbon. I used Murphys White lightning and half a spiral per jar.

Provided a nice amber color and the flavor that I was hoping for.
