ProOne Big II Gravity Water Filter, 2.5-Gallon Water Filtration System with (2) 7-Inch Filters and BPA-Free Spigot, Independently Tested Proven to Reduce PFAS

I purchased this system because the city water where I live is not drinkable and I also travel for work bringing me to many questionable water sources in the RV. I like the fact that this is USA made and after much research and viewing the purification testing certs, I decided to give it a try. Before this purchase I was making trips to the water shop every other day since I was pregnant and could not fill the 5 gallon jugs I would normally use. I also ended up on restrictions after delivery and could not leave the house for a few weeks. Needless to say this has been a much needed blessing to have access to pure water available at the tap. After losing water for a day due to water line maintenance, I was forced to use the water from my fresh water tank in the RV, which I know I haven't treated in quit some time. I was a little nervous and would not just use my family as guinea pigs lol, but put faith in the Certs and claims for purification. The water came out tasting great and no adverse side effects. I will say that when I first started using this I was not impressed with the taste but was grateful for clean water. Don't let that deter you because the taste does get better. It took about 4 or 5 full cycles for the taste to be pretty good. I thought it may be a little off because of the minerals left behind, but after about a good month of regular use it is the best tasting water. No complaints at all about the taste now. I have 2-7" filters and it really doesn't take that long for a full cycle, maybe 1.5hrs but you can use the water in the lower chamber while it fills. Also, I keep a gallon of filtered water in the fridge and refill the jug and the purifier throughout the day as needed. I have a five person household and I use it for my dogs and a few potted plants outside. We have always had plenty of water available when needed. I have read that you can clean and reuse ceramic filters but I haven't tried it and you should do your own research on that. Otherwise it's best to follow the manufacture's suggestions on filter replacement. Very happy with this purchase and I'm looking forward to being able to take this on our tent camping adventures as well.

I did a lot of research in different water filters and it took me weeks to decide which one to get. I'm very pleased with my choice of the ProOne Big II gravity water filter. It fits perfectly on my kitchen counter next to my sink(bought a plant stand from Lowe's to place it on). My tap water has a pretty noticable chlorine smell but once it goes through the filtration, the water has zero smell and zero taste. All you get is smooth water since 99.9% of everything is filtered out (including fluoride). I highly recommend this product and the price is great as well! I bought the option of the (2)7" filters and I use them both at the same time to filter the water faster.
