Wanted a pickguard for this guitar but didn't want to have one custom made. Came across this and thought I'd give it a try.Item was listed for acoustic guitars but I came across reviews and pictures of using it on electric guitars. I had already made my template out of paper. I just used scissors to cut it out and used sandpaper around the edges for the finishing touch. I had read reviews so knew I could sand and these sheets were thicker than regular colors even though still thin.Just be aware if you use these to make your template outline on the color side of the paper! Don't use the back 3M side or your pickguard will not work, it will fit but on the OPPOSITE side you need. Also, it sticks well so make sure your placement is spot on the first time. Just take your time to do it right.Overall very pleased, relatively easy to do and saved myself some money and time.

I cut new pick guard for my guitar. The dark tortoise is realistic looking. Fairly thin but still works well as a scratch guard and looks ok. Easily cut with scissors, but pay particular attention to the direction that you want your pick guard to face because you have to trace the shape onto the back where the 3M paper is so it's actual the opposite direction when you flip it over to finished side. I gave 4 stars for not having directions in the package calling attention to this for those of us who have never cut a replacement pick guard before, which would have saved me from making this rookie mistake and having to order another one.

Not sure I was expecting...I just liked it had adhesive on the back. It pretty much a thick vinyl sticker that you can cut out. I used it to make a pickguard for my mikro bass. It's hard to cut perfectly even with a new x-acto knife. I had to sand the edges. I say it's okay for the price and you get a decent size. I actually used half before this one, i messed up on the pot holes.I guess if you have a popular brand/model guitar/bass, get a template! I couldn't find one for my mikro bass and that what took the most time, drawing one correctly.

I needed a small piece of pearl white to make a custom truss rod cover. I decided to give this self adhesive sheet a try. I applied it directly over the existing truss rod cover and trim the edges with a razor knife. Worked great the first time. I liked the pearl covering so much , I bought a second sheet for future guitar projects. Nothing at all to dislike. It works and I like it. The pearl pattern is the best I have seen yet !

Ok so I got it in time, price was alright and size is listed so I know it’s small to start with,Here is why I Gave 4 stars1- the adhesive layer wasn’t covering the whole sheet, the edges weren’t covered and I had to cut them off and I believe I’ve read another review with the same problem.2 - it’s very thick that effected the sound of my guitar, unfortunately it’s an old 60’s flamenco with cazed finish so taking the Golpe off Without damaging the finish is impossible.It’s looks nice though, good product

This product is exactly what I was looking for to protect the wood surface of one of my bass guitars from pick use, scratches, and the natural oils from leaving fingers positioned around the pickups. I had to cut one piece as a template to work from before cutting the final piece. I recommend purchasing at least a couple of these sheets in case you accidentally mess up.

Was hoping that it would be clear and not have a white back behind the sheet... alas, once the adhesive backing is removed, white backing remains... Not perfect, but not a deal killer. Easy to cut with a scissors... Good price... Looks nice on a guitar... All is well...

Its a cool product, I wish it was thicker. It worked for the money spent. It was easy to cut with the razor blade, I also sanded down any rough edges which helped a lot. It was a little more expensive than I thought it should be but it ended out working out fine.

Nice quality but I wasnt impressed with the colour, it didn't match the guitar like I thought. This is not reflective, it's just a print but all in all not bad.

This is just a print on some plastic. It's like getting laminate flooring where the wood is printed on. Or like buying marble tiles but they are just printed on.

Poorly made didn’t stick

Terrible product. Cheap and flimsy, and not at all as pictured or described. Will be returning for refund. The blank that I received had significantly more light/yellow/cream areas making the overall appearance much lighter than pictured. Even if the colour matched the piece I was trying to find a close match for, it looks incredibly cheap, almost like it was printed on an ink-jet printer. Also it is way thinner than described, my caliper has it at 0.48mm. Extra annoyed as it took bloody ages to arrive, and I have a client waiting for a new pickguard which he will now have to wait longer for. Very frustrating.

Came bent in two places. Returned for refund. They don't ship these with any protection. It's a pickguard sheet in an envelope. If you buy a few things at once you might get lucky and they put it all in a box, in which case you may have a better chance of receiving it undamaged. Also the pickguard sheet is paper thin, FYI. And it is not translucent. There's a white backing on it.
