I had to repair scratched paintwork on my bicycle which I partially repainted. The lacquer sprayed evenly. As other reviewers have noted, make sure that you remove the safety ring under the nozzle before use. Also, the initial finish was Matt/Satin, but once the lacquer had cured for 24 hours, I was able to use a cutting pate and polish and produce a more glossy finish. Like other lacquers, although this will dry within minutes, to become hard requires days or even weeks so be cautious when using cutting pate or polish. The longer you leave it, the more likely the better results you’ll get. One more point; if you want a nice glossy finish more is better and I found a second round of spraying resulted in a much more glossy result. Remember that the can is 400ml but most of the volume is propellant and solvent. Best to buy 6 cans at a time.
