Fun to build. Beautiful detail. A little tricky lifting off the roof to see inside, but the back wall opens on hinges so you can see inside. The lighting is great, especially the chandelier that puts out more light than you could imagine. The spot for the hidden office can only be accessed from a secret panel from the outside and the way to get it open came apart and no way to fix it unless you dismantle the project all the way down to where that was built. It is well hidden. The inside of the saloon has so much detail to notice, especially the bar and all the liquor on the shelving that has a blue light to highlight it all on the wall behind the bar. I do wish a bump was installed on one of the stair bricks and on each chair and that the figurines could have a bump on their seat to hold them to a chair. No way to keep a figure on the stairs leading to the balcony. It would be nice if a bump was on some of the smooth floor pieces as well so figures could be standing in various places without them constantly falling over with barely a touch of the finished project. Otherwise, this brand has some features superior to its competitor. I like that there are at least 7 lights on the finished project. It sure looks pretty in the dark. The book has details and sometimes additional view for tricky places in the instructions. These kits are much more challenging than what I do with the grandkids. These are for ages 16 and up. I'm elderly and am having a lot more fun with these than with jigsaw puzzles. My grandkids will get them someday. If a parent wanted to spend some time with a pre-teen or young teen, it may be appropriate to let the child learn this, however, it is easy to make a mistake and have to go back and do over, so it needs supervision for younger people.

My family and I are avid builders, and we collect alot of sets. This one is among our favorites! Highly recommend Funwhole sets. The instructions are easy to understand, the prices are sturdy, and the prices are awesome!

This is my 6th build from Funwhole. I am NEVER disappointed, NEVER a missing piece, step-by-step directions are very EASY to follow and all builds are so creatively DETAILED - I have had a lot of fun with watching how all of the pieces come together. The lighting in every build is a much appreciated added touch - I really don't believe I'll ever buy from another brick building company. Their prices are budget friendly and I do appreciate the "limited time" sales Amazon consistently offers!!

My husband is obsessed with this entire brand of Legos! They are unique and fun! The light kit not having to be purchased separately is a major plus. The instructions and images are clear and so easy to follow. And the price is unbeatable. Our uncle is now addicted to them as well a d has already purchased 13! You don't have to pay name brand prices for the great quality, the unique design and a fun hobby!

This brick kit is a fantastic build. The packaging was very well organized and all pieces for the saloon were present. There is so much detail and the interactive parts - opening wall, pop off side door, and lights - are all fully functional. Amazing value for the price! I will be buying more brick kits from FunWhole going forward.

I purchased this while on sale so I paid $85 and, for that price, it was definitely worth the value. This was my first non-Lego brand build but based on the reviews and pics I thought I’d try it. Overall, I had a lot of fun building it, seeing the details, and attempting doing lights for the first time.Positive feedback:* I was impressed with the piano, stairs, grandfather clock, curtains, and other details.* I was careful with the lights and was excited when I turned it on the first time and everything worked!* I had all pieces needed and a few extra of the super tiny pieces over the course of the build* The packaging it came in, instruction book, and the pieces all seemed like solid, good quality and was impressed considering the price point. I will say that all components had a strong chemical type smell that gave me a headache the first day or two while it was still airing out (I am sensitive to smells though)* The concept is a lot of fun and I could tell creative thought went into the details chosen to be included and their designsAs for the critical feedback:* I could definitely tell they cut corners on the structural build…walls are weak and not properly reinforced. More than once pieces fell apart while trying to put another part in.* some pieces snap together tight but others barely hold. I had to really squeeze some pieces together to get gaps out* the instructions are decent, but I felt like some were in a weird order or could’ve combined steps. Some repeat processes would give different steps to build the exact same thing* images are dark considering most pieces are light brown or dark brown. Be sure to have good lighting to see the details on the dark brown pieces in the photos.Final thoughts: It was fun and I enjoyed it, though it’s not one I can trust to stay together with moving it around a lot or interacting with the interior. I don’t see a child under 15 being able to build it due to the weak structure in areas and parts not having a tight connection. I am glad I bought it and happy to have it in my collection of builds. I may be tempted to buy this brand in the future just due to the price point, the attention to details, and the included lighting.I took 2 stars off for structure integrity, but gave an extra star for the price, lighting and fun details so overall I feel 4 stars is accurate for my experience.
