My wife purchased these shoes in the hopes that they would properly fit her incredibly narrow heel, provide enough room in the toe box for her average-width forefoot that is plagued by Morton’s Neuroma and sesamoiditis, while not falling off her feet. And these shoes more than deliver. Not only do they stay securely on her feet, they do not aggravate her foot ailments and are incredibly comfortable to walk in (the outsoles provide ample shock absorption). She might wind up adding some semi-customizable inserts to increase the arch support, but the fact that these shoes do not presume to know where her high arches are on her specific foot, the “lack” of arch support is an additional added bonus. She is already considering getting another pair, even though they’re a bit pricier than she prefers, to have as indoor house-shoes. I cannot speak to the longevity of these shoes yet, as she only recently acquired them, but we have high hopes. The overall construction of the shoe appears to be very durable and, with her being a daily walker (averaging about 7 miles per day), weighing just around 100 lbs, and having owned North Face winter shoes in the past that have maintained the outsole tread for well over 2 years of heavy cold-month usage, we do expect they’ll last for at least a few years. She ordered her actual size (6.5), which is often risky because of her forefoot ailments and her incredibly narrow heel, and the fit of her true size is nothing but ideal.

A little snug, try ordering a half size up. Not a huge fan of the heel cover it barely feels like it’s holding your foot. If you’re looking for easy slip on this isn’t your slipper
