Brilliant Activities for Reading Comprehension, Year 1 Paperback – October 1, 2012

If children can read (decode) fairly fluently then much of this book will be too easy and year 1 teachers may want to get the year 2 book for those children.For those just beginning to read, this is excellent.As an adult led activity this will be fine for non readers as well, because the 'texts' are pictures.

A lovely introduction to comprehension for year 1 children. The images give lots of scope for discussion with the child.

Book is very good. Books 2 and 3 also excellent. Not multiple choice questions so children have to write full sentences.

Great to make your child talk and express himself. Gives the parents a lot of tips to complete the exercises. My 5 years old daughter has improved her vocabulary and way of expressing her thoughts.
