Runs great and doesn't heat up too badly. It is loud, so expect some noise if you are using this for an aquarium setup (like I am). I'm using this to run air through PVC pipes to 10 different 10-gallon tanks and it works perfectly. Could probably support 20-30 more, honestly.

I bought this unit as a backup due to its low price ($150). On the plus side, it was easy to install, appears to be well built, good air flow and does not appear to get too hot like my old unit did. It did have a loud rattling sound when I first installed it but over the last week, that has dissipated to a moderate hum. I'm hoping the unit continues to operate. The seller did offer a full refund but I have not yet request it. I hope I don't have to deal with any more problems.

Bought this a few months ago when our existing Brand name unit stopped working. This unit was less than half the price of the one that came with our house in 2011. Who cares if it's blue. No one Caan see it as we have a fence around our yard. We also have a cement covering it sits under to protect from the extreme summers and winters we get here in Oklahoma.
