It’s a nice quality bag, but the color is much more blue than black or grey.

At first the bag seemed really small, and the laptop compartment didn't fit my 15 inch laptop. I was ready to return it when I realized that it just needed time to unfold itself. The canvas is sort of stiff and bendy so it took some time and effort to get it to open up to its full capacity. While it is still a little bit smaller than I'd like, the material on both the bag and its strap seems really sturdy and durable. The colors of the bag and the leather are just a tad lighter than in the picture, but it is still a gorgeous bag. I was able to fit a large notebook, a couple of large soft cover textbooks, a charger, my iPad, laptop, and phone in it without even using the front or back zippered pouches (and there was room still to put some things in those). I do wish the back zippered pocket would fit a regular-sized iPad, but it doesn't. The bag zips and snaps nicely even with all of that in it, but you'll definitely feel all of that weight on your shoulder. There isn't any padding for the shoulder and the bag itself is relatively heavy. It looks great, however, and is obviously much easier to carry if you've got less stuff to transport. Overall, it's a great bag if you don't have too much to carry, but it seems like it'll hold up on days where you've got more to carry, and it's incredibly stylish.

I researched for DAYS before buying this bag. I even gave myself a $100 budget.Needless to say I am pleased with my purchase.The canvas and leather are very thick and durable. The opening is wide and allows for easy access to things inside. There's nothing worse than trying to find something in a bottomless pit!The leather odor wasn't strong. It did appear a little dull and had a "weathered" look that I believe was intentional. I was able to give it a more polished look with some leather conditioner ( Skidmore's Restoration Cream | Premium Leather and Wood Cleaner, Restorer, and Conditioner | All Natural Water Repellent Formula Preserves and Protects | Made in U.S.A. r color, smoothed the more worn look of it and made a nice, subtle difference in the appearance.The only thing I wish it came with was a better strap. It's absolutely fine and adjusts easily and seems pretty secure. My only complaint is that the bag itself, due to the materials used to create it, make it a little heavier than a lesser quality canvas bag might be. After adding my laptop, charger, note book, planner, pens, etc. it becomes quite heavy. Again, the strap does its job - I just wish it had a pad. Between my small frame, the heaviness of the bag and the metal adjustments in the strap it can be kind of painful.I still gave this bag 5 stars because I can easily purchase a shoulder strap pad to remedy the problem.

Sturdy, durable, looks good and great fit for a 15 inch computer.

I really like this bag. I got it ever since i was able to start working from home during this pandemic but still needed to go into the office periodically and needed something to carry files in. I like the waxed feature and that it can stand on it's own. Makes it easier to put things in. And the leather handle and accents look really nice.I don't use it for a computer so I can't attest to the padded part but it fits my 26 slot file organizer filled with documents and has enough pockets to accommodate most things.I was apprehensive about the magnetic buckle being cheap, but it's actually really strong and sturdy. Almost to the point i wish it was weaker so i could unbuckle it with one hand, but the magnets are really strong so no worries about it coming undone on it's own.Overall, a really great bag. Would definitely recommend.

I really can't express how pleased I am with this product, usually when I buy things off Amazon one of the biggest concerns is in my going to get some cheap product made in a third world country, I absolutely adore this bag it is high quality and very good looking and I'm able to store my laptop spare batteries an Xbox controller a Bluetooth speaker and cables all inside of this nice sleek bag. Mainly I get on Amazon reviews to complain but credit where it's due, this is a very nice bag!

Love the look of the bag. I work in high tech, customer facing role. Wanted something stylish and functional, but not too typical or pretentious. This bag is awesome from that standpoint. It's fairly functional. Only thing is my laptop (15.6" Lenovo) does not slide in and out of the bag too easily. So this was a bit of a pain when I was running in and out of meetings. I did not overstuff but had a decent amount in each pocket (front and back) - contents included a leather notepad, power cord, ear buds, iphone charger, some meds, and extra pens. Pretty standard fair. If there was just a little more room I'd give this 5 stars.-A Jordan

Very nice bag. I got a lot of compliments and it holds a lot. The buckles are only for show. There are snaps under the flaps. Good quality material. The only reason I bought a different bag after is that this one doesn't have a handle on the top, which I need when I'm on the go a lot. But if you just need the messenger bag style just like pictured it is a great buy. I still use it, but not for work

This bag is a great size for university students. The only thing that my son does not like is when the bag is fully loaded you can’t hold the handle without the snap’s popping open. You always have to use the shoulder strap.

i can't speak too much to durability as I haven't used it too much yet, but seems really solid. I like the feeling of heft that the canvas has, not flimsy. it will be able to fit all that I regularly go to grad school with, except no water bottle pouch, but that's my fault for not doubling checking. even so, I will clip my water bottle to the side ring where the strap attaches. i like the magnet system

After using this bag for a week going between college, work, and general outings, this bag has suited every situation. Feels sturdy, reliable and the space pretty good for a bag of that size. I'm able to fill the bag full and close/wear it comfortably.That being said, I use a 15 inch laptop that sometimes is a struggle trying to fit it in. The end of the zipper tends to droop down and catch the corner. Sometimes the pouch siding bunches up at the bottom and catches the laptop aswell. But this is very minor.I reccomend this bag for any situation. Being able to have it function while packed full is a selling point for me.

Love it, looks like great quality, and now I'm one of the cool kids at work.
