Worth every penny. This thing is perfection. The bag stays in place. The big size is perfect for our family of 5. We were taking the trash out 2x a day now it is once every day to once every other day. The storage spot on the back side for extra bags makes it even more convenient.

Update:Love seeing our garbage can in tv commercials...One of the most amazing garbage cans we have ever had. Never thought I would ever say that about a garbage can. It actually is the dimensions it states. I am 5.6 & it is like waist high on me.We love the capacity. It is brush nickel & has a touch of modern sleek if that is what you are looking for...You won't be disappointed

A well built trash can. Expensive but worth the functionality and looks of the can. Lid closes soft and smooth. Look at it as an investment into a lifelong trash can.

I once was where you were, spending way too much time trying to figure out if the extra cost compared to the cheap plastic trashcans, and the slightly more expensive stainless steel trashcans in the stores, trying to decide if it was worth it to order this one. Looking at measurements, pictures from other reviews, mentally trying to justify spending that much money on a trashcan, where I throw away my trash...is this what it means to be a responsible adult?! I'm glad I impulsively hit checkout on my cart. This trashcan is extra tall and sturdy, it's easy to change out the bag, it was packaged nice in a big box, and after setting it up in my kitchen, it just looks nice. The only slight downside is that the top only opens with the foot pedal. My old cheapie can could be opened by hand too, BUT my old cheapie can could also be opened by my dog's snout - this one can't. As you get older, you understand that you need to find joy where you can. I've found some of my joy in a nice, sturdy trashcan that I use multiple times a day. You should too.
