I'm a Luddite and still have a Verizon Kyocera DuraXV Extreme flip phone and I did not like the cases Verizon offered. I've used the Newyorkcellphone case for the Samsung Convoy 2 U660 & Convoy u640 Vertical Leather Case with Magnetic Closure since I purchased my first DuraXV Extreme. Although the "Samsung" case fit is tight (DuraXV is slightly thick) the case expanded to accommodate the phone. However, the magnetic closure was insecure because of the added thickness and when the case inevitably swiveled upside down the phone would often fall out (usually happened exiting my car). Luckily I use a Bluetooth head set and when walking away from the fallen phone the head set will announce "phone disconnected." After a years wear and tear on the case it slipped off my belt. The Bluetooth failed to alert me when I did not turn off airplane mode when making airline connections and I noticed at the next gate that I did not have my phone or the "Samsung Convoy 2 case" (it had slipped off my belt at my seat). The airline would not allow me back on the plane and I could not call it so that they could follow the ring because of airplane mode (never make that mistake again).When I saw the AH Universal Vertical Leather FLIP Cell Phone Case come up I decided to give it a try.The AH case is well made and the Velcro closure is secure. The AH case is a perfect fit for the DuraXV. The metal belt clip on the AH case is hard to slip over a belt to remove and reattach the case. My work around is to slip the belt through the metal clip before extending my belt through the last belt loop and buckling the belt. The AH case rides lower as the metal clip extends above the case. The picture on the worker with the hard hat is obviously doctored to show the case riding higher then I found it to ride. This is a little problematic for me to adjust the case to position it inside my auto seat belt latch as I wear the case on my right hip. More so as winter approaches and I am now wearing a winter jacket.Because of the difficulty in slipping the metal clip off the belt, I expect that it will be more secure then the easily flexed Newyorkcellphone case belt clip.November 29, 2023 update: I thought the Velcro closure was a positive feature. It is as far as security goes. But it is destructive of the liner of any coat or vest worn over the case. The last two pictures I uploaded show the damage the snagging Velcro did to my puffy vest.

This leather flip cell phone case is well made. It appears and feels sturdy, and has a metal clip that rotates, which is nice. I placed it next to an Android phone holder for comparison. The android holder was only five dollars, so I think this flip phone holder is a bit overpriced.

This is a great case. I actually got this to replace the case that came with my taser. The first thing you notice right out of the box is, it’s very well made. It just feels good in your hands, sturdy. The clip stays on my belt, unlike some that I’ve had, where my taser ends up on the ground. It’s important to me to have that confidence that my taser is where it’s supposed to be. I have that with this case. So glad I decided to try this one. I highly recommend.

The case is a great idea. It was a let down due to the lack of quality in manufacture. If you look at the photo, the top rivet next to the clip simply fell out somewhere during first use. The whole thing now over swivels. I can't use it safely.Improve the quality of the rivets please. The rest is great.

When I saw this case posted on Amazon, I checked the inside dimensions and realized the case would likely hold my diatonic harmonica securely. I'm now playing the blues of happiness in having a safe place to keep my harmonica ready by my side for note-bending reed action at a moments notice.My only concern happened upon opening the shipping package. The case had a mild odor, possibly from an off-gassing leather treatment chemical. Thankfully the odor was not overbearing, and seems to be going away over time.Overall the case appears to be well made of quality materials and construction. The detachable stainless steel clip is a useful feature for portability. I find the cost of the case to be reasonable. I'm glad to have this case to hold my harmonica.
