It would probably be perfect if I didn't own the extra battery grip on my Canon R5. I had to cut along the bottom to remove some excess in order for the grip to function with the camera. This rubber case fits perfectly otherwise and will protect the body from bumps and scratches.

I wanted the best camera for me and so I too want the best protection. This silicone case is solid. It fits perfectly like its laser guided and all the main access buttons you need are uncovered like the joystick and scroll wheel etc. Another amazing thing to point out is that the buttons that are fully covered such as your af on button is engraved on the case so you know exactly where the buttons are. Many colour options to choose from and have gotten plenty of compliments from it already! It is so easy to put it and don't worry about over stretchng it. Once it's on its on confidently snug and the grip handle improves tremendously for me. I am so happy. I may buy another just to have interchangeable colours. If you are hesitating don't do it on this one. Its a masterpiece. Thank you for making this!

This cover works great to protect about 80% of an R5 from scratching a very short drops. Perfect for what I need - prevent scratching of the body in my bag or when I carry it over my shoulder while hiking. Also, its buttons are lined and cutout perfectly. There aren't a ton of options, so this one is about double the price of the one that I purchased for my M50. It does have a couple of flaws though. One major flaw is that it is loose on the base of the camera - this is caused by the cutouts needed for the card slot, battery slot (more so because it has a strip cut out in case you use a battery grip and this becomes a random flap if you don't), and LCD screen. I consistently have to readjust it when I pull the camera out of my bag and inevitably my pinky goes under the silicone skin. Second, it is probe to pick up fingers prints from oil and dust and lint stick to it - I have to wipe it off daily, but this is probably because the cover is very grippy. Third, there is no protection for the back of the camera - obbiously, nothing can be done about this because of the articulation of the screen, you could cover the back of the screen and still flip the screen around. I primarily use the EVF, so it would be nice if someone created an alternative cover to protect the back of the cover - or perhaps a skin to stick on it to give it grip and protection like the M50 has natively. Regardless, it is a great skin and make me feel like my investment is protected.
