My spouse said I left the bathroom stinky. I said I don't want to forget to turn off the bathroom fan when I leave because it wastes energy and pumps all the warm air outside.This was our solution. I can leave the bathroom fan on for a few extra minutes and not have to come back to shut it off.It also helps when I am getting ready in the morning. I can set the fan for 10 minutes and when I hear it shut off, I know it's time to hurry up.The almond color matches the other switches in our 1980s house.

As others have noted, this timer is much better than others in regard to the ability to change the brightness of the LEDs so you aren't left awake at night with a bright glow in the room.I dropped one star for installation ease--- The ground screw is mounted on the top of the switch directly under the pre-installed box mounting screw. Not a deal breaker, but a small design change should move the ground around to the side so it is not being interfered with when you try to tighten the green screw.Another nice bonus is the inclusion of a neutral pig tail wire that is already pre-stripped and tinned on both ends to different lengths needed: one end stripped for the switch, the other stripped long enough to be put into your bundle of neutrals in the box without having to strip it.My one big gripe is with the included "installation manual"... You get a tiny 4x7 inch paper printed in the world's smallest font using light-grey ink on white paper. Even if you have perfect eyesight you would have trouble reading it. This forces a person to look online for the PDF version of the manual on the Minoston website.

This was very easy to install, the time setting are correct when tested, the color matches the outside plate perfectly. I am happy with this purchase and much better alternative to the dial timer that broke before.
