Works well but it could be easier to operate!
This pump works really well - the pressure gauge is spot-on and the pump stops automatically at the right pressure,. Nice, futuristic design too.Not so good...The digital display is really quite dim and very hard to see in daylight. Also the way it operates is slightly obscure. You have to connect it to 12V supply but with the power switch off. Despite being switched off the display on it lights up. Connect it to the car tyre and set the required pressure by pressing the + and - keys. Finally, press the power switch on the top of the unit and it starts inflating. Of course I forget each time to press the power switch after inflating is finished, so the next time I use it the thing refuses to work until I turn the power switch off, remove the 12V power and start again. Despite these issues it does seem to work very well and is very compact.

Good unit but poor Presta adapter
The unit arrived on time and works well. The instructions are pretty clear. I checked and corrected all my tyre pressures on the car and road bikes by setting the recommended pressure for each tyre on the unit and then pressing a button. It pumps up to the preset pressure and then cuts out, and you can see the pressure on the digital display. The cable from the cigarette lighter to the tyres were just long enough for my small car, a Hyundai i10.The blue adapter valve in the box is for Presta valves, used on most road bikes and some mountain bikes. You screw it all the way on to the valve on your bike tyre, then attach the compressor over the adapter and away you go. Don't get too excited though. The adapter works but it is the cheapest plastic you can find, just about screws on to a valve and will certainly not last long - you'll need to spend a few more quid to get a more robust Presta to Schrader adapter. It's also a shame there is nowhere on the unit to keep the adapters so you don't lose them.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase but wish the Presta adapter was better quality and there was a place to store it within the unit.

Immediately useful to me!
I took delivery of the SEEYC Digital Car Tyre Inflator and it proved to be immediately useful to me. At the weekend we made a 320km round trip to visit friends. This was on a mix of high speed motorways and country lanes. When braking our Volvo had an unusual shake to the steering. So using the Tyre Inflator at home I checked the tyre pressure and was surprised to find that the value was very low. Clearly we had been running with a tyre that was going down! The Inflator quickly corrected the pressure and I was able to take the car to a tyre yard to have all of them checked. The set up of the unit was quick and easy and the Inflator performed as it should do as per the instructions. It is worth learning and testing how to use the inflator before you hide it away in the boot/trunk. We have three cars in our household so clearly we will find use for the Inflator on several occasions and when least expected. Another bonus of getting the Inflator for me is that we are storing one of the cars for my son and when I checked the pressure on the tyres for that car it looked as if the unit was not working. That was NOT the case – in fact whilst we knew that the car had an electrical fault the error was that the internal power output ( the cigarette lighter ) was not working. So the bonus of having the Inflator was that it found a fault that we did no know that we had. A very useful unit all round – very pleased that we have bought it!

The best tyre inflator I've had to date!
After my cars own analogue tyre inflator mysteriously disappeared, I needed a replacement. Found a few on Amazon but I found this one stood out with its unusual look and after reading nearly all the reviews (good and bad) there were about it I decided to just go ahead and just buy it.This has been the best one I've ever had so far. It's really quick inflating low tyres and not quite as noisy as my previous one. Only two complaints are the LCD display is quite dim making it almost invisible in direct sunlight and that the light and power buttons are a bit on the small side and depress quite far into the casing so I have to use my little finger to use them. However, that's hardly a deal breaker for me since it comes with adapters, a spare fuse and it's really easy to use. Just set desired pressure and it stops itself when set pressure is reached. I've also found this digital pressure display to really accurate too which I really like - unlike my last analogue one which was well off what pressures actually were. Best £24 I've ever spent!

Great Bit Of Kit To Keep In The Car – Does Get A Little Hot Though?
Unfortunately, my most recent lease car, a Focus ST MK3, doesn’t come with a spare tyre. In fact, this is my first car not to have one! It does come with some inflatable can stuff, but I’m a little wary of products that seem rather gimmicky!Having also got a little bit tired of using my 1960s-foot pump tyre pump, I really did dread knowing I had to check tyre pressures! I decided it was finally time to invest in something a little more modern, without breaking the bank.If I’m honest I didn’t do much shopping around, popped ‘car tyre inflator’ into Amazon and purchased the first one with the best rating, being just over £20, can’t go wrong.I have to say the unit has been great, it’s been used a handful of times on mine and my wife’s car, even on the neighbours when I realised his tyre was looking a little low. It’s easy to use, just plug it into your cigarette lighter, roll down the windows and press the button to go.My only concern, or slight complaint is just how hot the unit gets. I haven’t seen too many other reviews that state this, so it could just be on mine, but it gets almost too hot to pick up after a few minutes use.Other than that, overall a very good product.
