Great info
This book is so nicely organized and flows perfectly from unit to unit. It is actually separated into units and at the beginning of each unit has a checklist. Then each unit flows nicely, slowly gaining more information on the unit's topic as it goes. It's full of COLORFUL worksheets and reading articles, coloring and hands on activities and presents the information in many different ways so the child learns how become a flexible thinker, looking for ways to solve it rather than force the situation to fit their way of thinking. Very intuitive. the pages are also a high quality paper. Love this series of books. Definitely worth the purchase for home schoolers.

Home School
A hidden gem for home schoolers. Grades 3 and higher can be used for older kids, just omit the 'crafts' that accompany each unit study. These books have such interesting questions and unique workbook pages, I totally recommend all of the grade levels. Complete answers in back of book.

Good Thought Provoking Tasks
I bought these for my two third graders to work on for homeschool. Our special area this nine weeks is critical thinking. This book combines skills from all subject areas and makes the kids think outside of the box to come up with solutions. There are a variety of activities in the book to engage the children from many different aspects. The only problem I am having is that my kids are at the end of the year and just don't want to engage in thinking and really want to make this an activity that mom walks them through or does for them.

Limited problems, but ok
It's a nice addition to curriculum. I wish there were more activities for one day, but it is a decent amount, I suppose.

Pages rip out too easily, but the content is good.
We've been using this for our homeschooling and it's been working great, but there's an issue with the pages, with that issue being that they rip out super easily. Like, you'll be writing in it and just the pressure of your hand on the paper as you write well make an entire page rip out before you can stop it from happening. If it weren't for that I would have given it higher stars, because the content is great, but the physical quality of the book is iffy. I understand that some pages need to be removable due to them being arts and crafts related, but every page doesn't need to pop out with such ease.

This book is informative yet fun. My daughter enjoys doing the lessons. A bit more on the lightweight side. I'd suggest going up by one grade if the child is average to above his/her school grade.
