So far so good. I got hooked on sound machines when I met my wife 17 years ago. She had the same one since I met her and it was about $300. I got this sound machine with low expectations but it had actually taken over as the main one in our bedroom. My only question is durability but so far after about 3 months it runs perfect. I also like how adjustable it is, we were able to find just the right sound to help us sleep

Sterling sound machine is pretty good one. What you don't see from the picture is that there are different rotatable bands on the outside of that device that when they're turned in various positions, create various tones and sort of loudness too. Doesn't sound like a toy, it does drown out the noise and is not unpleasant. Definitely worth the money. I have purchased other similar devices and they sound like a kid's toy which I found very annoying. This one is like the size of a softball and a half. So maybe that makes the difference because it's a little bigger.

Really bad quality. These start rattling a few days after using, don’t waste your money.

Broke after the 3rd day of use. We returned it easy enough but a bummer because it did work great!

I like the fan design, but this one makes kind of a humming noise when it's turned on. Not sure if there's something wrong with this particular unit, or if it's an issue with this model in general. It does the job at least.

Ok so far.

I loved it! Works great and all night long. Just as good as the old model it replaced and maybe better. I can adjust the settings and use it when I want to( day or night) . Love it!

Great quality, sound is adjustable

Still going strong a year and a half later, really impressed by this little machine!Used a fan for years to create white noise. Switched over to this in an effort to save space in my room and energy. I’ve been using it for a month and have no issues. The noise it makes is perfect, there’s adjustments you can make to personalize it. For the cost, even if I have to replace this yearly it’s a good value.

I absolutely loved this machine. The sound it makes is natural and soothing, and it will run constant, without shutting off after a certain amount of time.However, it arrived March 1st, and I used it until May 19th, when I noticed its making a weird sound. Kinda like something is loose on the inside. Unfortunately my window to return this product has passed. Amazing sound... but unfortunately a poor quality machine.

Good noise frequency, sad that it only offers 2 speeds, but for the price is decently loud and soothing. It’s nice to drain out other noises while I sleep!Sadly, the machine stopped working shortly after I bought it, When I plug it in, in no longer makes noise only vibrates.This is great when it works tho

Would be a 5 star if it had an even slower speed, the two provided speeds are too loud in my opinion.UPDATE: Just turned it on before bed and sparks shot out of it. Ermmmmmm

This was really great when I purchased it. I need noise to sleep and it worked well, until it didn't. Only lasted for about two months, but I slept well for those months.
