Buffalo Games - Vivid Collection - Color Challenge - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

I've had this puzzle for a few years, have done it a few times. It's fun to work on, keeps my interest while moving through the different colors. The pieces fit together well. Almost too well, as it was hard to separate pieces when I put them in the wrong place or when taking the puzzle apart.

I really enjoyed the challenge! The pieces fit together surprisingly well, I can actually manage to pick up the entire puzzle without any glue/tape. There was no puzzle bag, the box was glued shut on all 4 sides instead, but I didn't have issues with missing pieces. I do wish the colors in the image were slightly more balanced, especially towards the end when I was left with a huge swath of red. Overall though, this was great for the price point!

This was my first time ordering a Buffalo puzzle and I was shooketh that the puzzle didn't come in a bag. On one hand, really good for the environment, on the other hand, I think this is why a lot of people may miss a piece. In the process of opening (rather wrestling) the glued shut box, a couple pieces trickled out. Fortunately, mine was complete. However this damaged the box, not matter how careful I pried it open, which is a waste because I like to display my puzzles in the cabinets. The pieces have a glossy finish, medium thick cardboard and the pieces fit each other really nicely. I had a couple pieces not cut all the way through or pieces with pieces of paper stuck in the inlets. Not a huge problem for me. one or two pieces had some scuffs on them, which I just colored in with sharpies. The corners and inner corners of blue, green went fast. Yellow and purple went okay but ooh boy, once you reach red and orange, take breaks to rest your eyes. My mom had made meatballs, and I asked her why they were green and everyone just looked at me funny.

A unique puzzle. I thought it would be quicker to put together than it was. I had fun though making it with my granddaughter.

This was a solid challenge, but still very fun. A fair amount of the pieces were peeling though, thus my 3 star ratings for sturdiness and thickness. It took me a while to come up with a system for placing pieces beyond sorting into general colors. There is a way to tell which way is vertical for the pieces if you're paying attention, but I won't spoil it for you. It took me about 3 weeks of intermittent sessions to complete this one, and the size was nice for using the end of my dining table while still having room for my boyfriend and I to eat dinner on the other end.

Wow—this was a super challenging puzzle and I nearly gave up a handful of times. The middle section was the most difficult. I had to sort the pieces by shape and work off of this strategy for the final 30 percent. The quality of the puzzle was subpar—numerous pieces peeled up as I worked with them. The colors were beautiful though and I used puzzle glue to affix the puzzle to my wall as a rekindle that persistence pays off.

I love this puzzle. It actually wasn’t nearly as challenging as I thought it would be, however. I never tried the Buffalo Games puzzles before because sometimes you get really thin pieces that bend and tear at the edges. This puzzle is good quality and thickness and it’s easy to know when a piece actually fits together and doesn’t leave you guessing if it truly goes in that place or not. I love the simplicity of the design and vibrant colors but was most impressed with the quality of construction. I wasn’t sure if like it, but I will definitely buy more from this brand in the future. It’s not quite as good quality as a Ravensburger puzzle but fairly comparable.

I love this puzzle! I'm a somewhat avid jigsaw puzzle dude, where I will either do a big one with my family or buy two of the same and race against someone. This puzzle was purchased for the latter.The pieces are small, but unique and interlock well. I had a few pieces where the cardboard was peeling, but that didnt really impact the process.The colors are vibrant, but can be very similar, so it can be difficult to assemble. But, that's a good thing.My favorite thing about this puzzle is that becuz of its design, piece color schemes and piece size, it's a puzzle that never loses its difficulty. Putting it together will always be a great challenge regardless of the number of times becuz the pieces are so similar looking.Also, this puzzle can be purchased in both 1000 and 300 piece options. That's not common, which makes it even more awesome for less skilled folks, those with limited time or attention spans and/or young kids.Get it. You womt be disappointed.

I really enjoyed doing this gradient puzzle although I would have to say the orangey red part was somewhat challenging - make sure you have some good lighting for that bit! But overall the piece quality was excellent and the pieces held together very well. The end result was really quite stunning, I think this would look pretty cool hung up on the wall if that's your jam.

Good fun. It's the first puzzle I've done where I didn't do the edges first. I started with green. The orange/peach section got quite hard so I started up the blue end and met in the middle. It took me about 17 hours which is longer than I thought so I was happy with that.The was a poster in the box but I didn't really need it. Which is handy because the image on the poster was taller than the puzzle image.

Pieces fit fairly well together. Can definitely tell if the pieces are meant to be connected. More challenging than I expected which is a bonus.

1/3 Of the peices were bent. And 1/2 the peices the image was coming off. It will not be getting done. I feel like I have wasted my money.

Llegó antes de la fecha, el tamaño de la caja es perfecto y viene un póster como para que te puedas guiar.La calidad de las piezas súper buena, algunas venían un poco lastimadas, pero nada que desmerite.Los colores súper vibrantes, es un must si te gustan armar rompecabezas. Desde hace mucho quería uno de gradientes y creo que fue la mejor opción.
