Excellent quality serum
Another serum! But what a serum!!Serum means NOT cream, so little is needed. These are serious products, and do know what you're getting. You're receiving superb quality ingredients. It promises reducing wrinkles, etc. Fair enough. I haven't used it for long enough, but I do feel a pleasantly tighter and more uplifted skin texture, which will all go to reducing any wrinkles.I have a feeling that, like all of these types of products, it depends on your own skin type. For me, I felt good after a week, with some noticeable reducing in wrinkles around the eyes and forehead, such few that I had anyway. But still, every little helps, and you only need a little! Hence the price is fair, for this will last.

Decent serum for younger, normal skin
I can only, so far report on short term effects, but after a week of using this product, I have noticed a very slight improvement in the texture of my skin. No obvious effect on fine lines. I think there are more "pure" products out there, which contain hyaluronic acid and fewer additives but, in any event, the product did not irritate my skin (which is slightly sensitive). I did leave it feeling slightly tight and I was eager to slap on moisturiser following the serum. The dual chamber presentation is a bit gimicky (I'm assuming there is no reason why the components could not be pre-mixed). Some reviews mention flaking. I did not have any issues with this but, perhaps it depends on what products you follow the serum with. If you have younger, more normal skin than mine (mine is on the dry side and I am 39), this might be a good serum for you. I'll be returning to my previous serum.

Two questions to think about
I spend quite a lot time examining the veracity of the claims made about health products. It is impossible to judge with certainty but this one is in my view more credible than most. The more difficult question is whether it justifies the price. I can't give a definitive answer but here are a few observations which I hope will help.- My partner keeps hiding it so she can keep it for herself- It is a thick gel with no perfume or colour and absorbs well. We haven't had any problems with flaking.- The container is extremely smart and well made. It's also large given that is only contains 30ml- It contains glycerin, which some people don't like- Overall I prefer the Strivectin multi-action restorative cream

Strivectin Hyaluronic Dual Response Serum
I've been using this serum for about a month now, its a two chamber serum combining two formulas to hydrate your skin. Its light, goes on easily and smells lovely. Applied morning and evening underneath my moisturiser I have definitely noticed my skin feels softer, sadly though I haven't seen any difference yet in the appearance of fine linesThe small amount needed each application seems to indicate it will last a while, its not causing any adverse affects so I will continue to use it and update my review/rating at a later date

OK, but not exceptional
Wifes review:- I shan't rehash all the wondrous claims the manufacturer makes for this product, save to say that it is supposed to radically improve hydration using hyaluronic acids. There are detailed claims and pseudo scientific stuff on their website if you wish to find out more. The first thing I noticed when unboxing it, is that the bottle is smaller than the box by about an inch. I get irritated by companies that do this....do they think we're stupid? As I pulled the bottle out, my unconscious mind was alerted by a dissonance between sizes, so I looked inside the box....was there an applicator or something which explained the extra space? No, it's just a piece of card filling the void to make the bottle reach the top of the box and fool us silly people into thinking it's bigger than it is. The bottle is split into two compartments so the serum is mixed as it is pumped out. I needed three pumps to cover my face and neck and a further pump to cover my décolletage. I tried it on it's own and it did feel nice initially, but I needed to apply face cream shortly afterwards as my skin began to feel tight. I now put it on before my normal moisturiser after cleaning my face morning and evening. The instructions say not to get it near the eye area, but I have found that I also need to avoid my lips, as it started to irritate them and I can tell that my eczema would start if I continue to ignore this. Whilst it has certainly made my skin a little softer, it hasn't made any difference to the lines on my face at all after a few days of use. It hasn't made my skin feel more hydrated than my usual moisturising cream alone does, so I wouldn't buy any more, and £40+ is a lot to spend on something that doesn't work, for me at least.
