Uninspired collection
One of his weakest collections, mostly uninspired wacky horror stories. If you want to get into his universe and don’t know where to start, try Smashed, Shiver or Uzumaki instead.

Always been a fan from Junji Ito. So this was a no brainer when I knew he released a new book. If you're into horror that’s more unsettling than outright scary, Alley is a must read. It’s a collection of ten short stories that dig into body horror, weird neighborhoods, and creepy everyday situations. The title story, Alley, is about a guy who hears kids playing outside his boarding house but the alley’s blocked off. It’s eerie and makes you question what's real. Other stories like Mold and Ice Cream Bus are a classic, strange, gross, and oddly fascinating. The art is detailed and adds to the creepy vibe. If you like horror that’s more about atmosphere than jump scares, this one’s for you.
