Great value for the money. It helps to put me to sleep after a long stressful day at work. I purchased this 6 months ago and it still functions the same as new one out the box.

While the lamp looks cool, it only lasted a few hours. My child was super excited about this and him and his cousins were watching it. The lamp was bumped and fell over and broke. There was glass shards everywhere and the stuff inside was waxy and super hard to clean up. If you have kids or pets in the house, be careful.

You'll read from someone else that it took some time to "break in" and this is true. It took about 48hrs for it to look like the picture and become a true lava lamp. But once it's broken in, it will do great within less than 30min!I gave it a 4 star only because it is a smaller type of lava lamp.

The media could not be loaded. My nephew wanted a lava lamp he was inquiring.I had informed in back in the late 60s early 70s. I would have these in my room when I was growing up in high school.This particular one changes colors, which he really enjoyed.

This is a cute and fun little lamp, but it doesn’t last. We put it next to our larger lamp which is 13 years old and still functioning. After a couple months the coil inside the lava lamp on this has come undone, and will not properly warm the lava to be functional anymore. There is no way to fix the coil and can no longer be used. I wa disappointed I only got a couple months of use out of my brand new lamp.

This is a smaller version of lava lamps and unique in design because it uses colored LED theoretically change the color of the clear liquid and more enhance/semi-change the color of the lava. Overall, the lamp functions well. The liquid is clear and the lava flows nicely. I really don’t notice a dramatic effect from the colored LED lights. They add a subtle effect and you notice them more in a darker environment. I appreciate the price point and think it is an affordable option. I would recommend, however just keeping in mind to use caution around young children or pets. It is a fun decoration, but it gets HOT.

I only have one place I can use it in my apartment. Because of how hot it gets. And that is on a tiled kitchen pass-through. But I see it everytime I leave my bedroom. The color and the movement I find really soothing. And it helped me through a bad medical patch. So that alone makes it worth it.
