Better than the description
This is by far one of the best things I’ve ever purchased. It’s easy to use. Makes perfect waffles every time. It cleans up easily and does not require much effort. The waffles never stick to it. It’s was to store and doesn’t take up much storage space. It is made extremely well it’s durable and doesn’t take long to cool down after using. You definitely will get your money’s worth out of this. We use ours several times a month and absolutely love it.

Very good non stick design. Easy clean up.
Great non stick design. Creates perfect waffles. Very clear ready lights. Easy clean up. Warms up fast. Easy use. Temp settings are easy to use with clear results depending on desired darkness of waffles.

Very good waffle maker for the cost
For $35 this waffle iron is very good. I had an older square waffle iron, but wanted a rounded Belgian style (deeper holes and ridges) one, and did some research and settled on this model. It came a few days ago, and I've made waffles in it twice. Both times they turned out great, with no sticking (I used a bit of cooking spray) and they were done perfectly. I turned the setting up to the highest level and cooked each waffle for 4 minutes. Some people complain about the lights, they are not to tell when a waffle is done, instead they turn green just to let you know that the empty waffle maker is pre-heated and ready for the batter. Pouring it in (make it thicker than pancake batter, for better waffles), flipping it, then wait 4 minutes, flip it back, open and remove with a spatula and you'll have a good waffle. You can also use a toaster or regular oven on 200 to put waffles in to keep warm and make them crisper while you make larger batches for a crowd. This is not a heavy-duty waffle iron, nor does it have removable grates, but for the cost, it is very good and does the job.

Went for the handle design
So far so good. I had bought another brand and it kept cracking and breaking in the handle flip area. Decide to go with this one because of how they designed the handle. Works well.

TerriblePurchase
I give this product Zero Stars. The quality of this product was not made to be durable. The weight of the item signifies how cheaply made this product really is. It is not the normal weight of a normal waffle maker . Once plugged in you have two lights red green and an additional green light once the waffle maker is rotated 180°. These lights have no significance on timing of the waffle iron whatsoever. Meaning you can't rely on the lights to know when the product is done or when to rotate it. In short they are dummy lights. You have to rely on the timing of your wrist watch or whatever form of time you have available at the moment. I do not recommend this item for someone who is trying to have an entry level waffle maker at home or for the individual who would like to have a waffle maker that is going to last for some time. This is not the product. This would be one of those products that you pack on a camping trip and if it breaks on the way big deal. However the price reflects something that should be more durable than what it really is. That is another downfall of this item. Save yourself the trouble

Like the “rotating” feature
First, we are using Krusteaz Belgian waffle mix. May get brave and try a batch from scratch. Have used it over four separate weekends. I did some research before making this purchase. It is a roll of the dice to get decent Belgian waffle maker. I would not buy this particular waffle maker because I suspect the top grid is not heating properly (waffle sticks) which may have a direct correlation to the random green light function. I could be wrong but the design and function of this product seems substandard.Pro: Like the “rotating” feature. Can not confirm if it is any better than a non-rotating waffle iron.Makes a great waffle (can only make one at a time)Easy to use and cleanSize and weight for storageThe User Guide has large illustrations and easy to understand.Con: Waffle always sticks to the top plate even though we follow instructions which clearly states top and bottom plates should be lightly oiled using vegetable oil (no non-stick sprays). This is an annoyance. The green, ready light, is useless. After lightly oiling, pre-heating, and selecting desired “doneness” (just past the halfway position) the ready light comes on one minute after adding batter. Obviously the waffle is not done. Then the light turns on and off at random intervals. Trial and error led us to just set a timer for three minutes for perfect waffles. After removing a waffle and closing the lid to get it up to temp for the next waffle, the green light will immediately light up. Which tells me the green light has no real function relative to making a waffle. It’s only viable use is letting you know when the iron has completed pre-heating.Very short power cord which apparently may be wrapped around small pegs on the bottom of the unit for storage. Regardless of which direction I wrapped the power cord there was no place to store the plug. There is no discussion or illustration in the user guide about this feature.
