The Pathfinder School French Press for Camping

Great french press with one caveat: It's a great french press/boiling pot setup. There are not that many single wall, all metal, french presses available. It doubles as a pot for boiling water or making Ramen. It’s a good size for two people. I’ve only camped with it once so far but it worked just like it should and made great coffee. Here’s the issue that cost it a star: you can NOT fit an IsoButane canister inside!! It is 1mm-2mm too small! I can’t believe they didn’t plan for that. (UPDATE: You CAN fit a 4oz isoButane canister inside this coffee pot. It would be cool if they enlarged the I.D. by 1mm though-then it would fit an 8oz) My percolator fits a small IsoButane canister, a mini stove and the percolator bits (except the pipe) all inside. This matters if you are trying to go compact like hiking or bike camping. A good product. Keep in mind that coffee will cool much faster than a double wall, but you can't use a double wall on the stove.

This coffee pot works great. No coatings, just straight stainless steel. We used it for coffee, soups, and drinking water. You can put it directly on the coals. 10/10. It is extremely well made, and durable

Well made, really cool french press. Very sturdy. I like the large capacity 1300ml (48 oz). I like the stainless steel. This is great for travel or home use.

This has been my go to camping coffee maker. All metal design so it can go on a stove or straight in the fire. Small but still makes enough for two people. Live it!

This is so great! It fits a normal camp gas container and it’s components. We’ve used it for hiking and camping and love it. Super easy to use. Stainless steel, and really easy to clean. We’ve taken the French press stem apart and used it just for a pot for our hiking stove set up and it works better than the name brand hiking stoves! Coffee grounds didn’t get into our pressed cup when we used it for coffee either. It leaves no aftertaste from the material. Unlike the silicone one we’ve tried.

I love this thing it has been one of my best survival items! I have actually turned my whole entire family on to using French presses and so many people are impressed to see one used over open flame :-) I wound up with a shipping issue but I think that was more due to an Amazon driver then an issue with this company. They ended up shipping the first one to the wrong address so I had to wait to get a second one shipped to the right address but awesome coffee press 👍 I would have given it another star if it would have came with say a insulated sleeve or cozy to help keep things warm as when you make coffee over a fire in the winter time you can't keep it warm for long 😜 It is very durable and quality material and will hold up many years if you take care of it. As a matter of fact I am enjoying a nice cup of coffee from mine as we speak. Takes a little bit of elbow grease but it cleans up nicely as well

Just buy it! I have read all the reviews and I am not easy to give 5 stars but this coffee press I am very much impressed! I can highly recommend this without a doubt! It is indeed the best coffee press from amazon. THE BEST ONE!!! Great quality and a very good price! I love it! The only downside is it is made from stainless steel so expect it to be a little bit heavy, yet so sturdy and good for indoor or outdoor coffee and camping. I am just hoping this brand would be able to offer this kind of quality coffee press made from Titanium as well. Because of the quality of this coffee press I wont mind bring it for back packing even if it is a little bit heavy. THIS IS BUILT LIKE A TANK. I will be waiting and hoping for a Titanium version of this #ThePathfinderSchool coffee press

Lip had a bit or sharp metal I filed down, other than that perfect French press I use almost daily
