We use a USB-C dock for all teachers to connect to their display, network, power, document camera, etc. Since there is so much 'going through' the cable to the computer, many of the cables we buy don't last more than a few months before they have to be replaced. We have fewer issues with the Xaosun cables (multiple lengths) than any of the other brands we have purchased.

I was have issues with my PCIe expansion chassis were some thing was not happy. I used a speed test to see the performance of my old cable and decided to replace it. Great move. My new XAOSUN 240W USB 4 Cable made a noticeable change. I will but again.

"We break for nobody!"This three-foot "USB 4 Cable 240W" by XAOSUN with USB Type-C connectors reminds me of another generic USB4 cable. The only visual difference being the color and branding silkscreened on the connector hoods. You would be forgiven for mistaking one for the other. Like the other generic USB4 cable, this USB4 cable have markings indicating transfer speed and charging power silkscreened right on the connectors. A sidenote, I will forever be grateful for the change in manufacturers labeling their USB Type-C cables. I have too many unmarked and identical-looking cables with USB Type-C connectors that support various USB 3.x data transfer, video, and Power Delivery functions. Maybe one day soon when USB4 cables are common place, this would be a non-issue.My sample of this braided cable appear to be fairly typical of USB4 cables, thicker and somewhat stiffer than previous generation USB cables. Girth by no means guarantee performance. It could just mean a thicker jacket, insulation, and/or heavier gauge conductors. The extra heft feels more "premium". Well, that and the price. The cable will try to retain its shape if, for example, you tie it in a bowtie shape instead of coiling it. A 180 degree bend at the connector requires about 5.25" (13.31 cm) of space, 4" (10.16 cm) diameter, and 14" (35.56 cm) of cable.This cable was used to connect different devices to a host with TB4/USB4 ports. The System Info app reported the following: >TB3 SSD enclosure - shows up as TB device in TB3 mode, up to 40 Gbps. >USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 (AKA USB 3.1 Gen 1, AKA USB 3.0) HD enclosure - shows up as USB device, up to 5 Gbps. >USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 (AKA USB 3.1 Gen 2, AKA USB 3.1) HD enclosure - shows up as USB device, up to 10 Gbps.Given that there are few USB4 40 Gbps devices on the market and the best I can do is push about 27 Gbps over TB3 with an SSD enclosure. That was the throughput limit of the chipset inside the enclosure and not the cable. USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 external SSDs were getting throughput at about 4 Gbps and 9 Gbps, respectively. The cable was also able to handle USB-PD charging to several USB Type-C only devices without issues.

Works great! Amazing for porting my phone through my PC.

This was a thick, sturdy cable that handles the highspeed throughput I required.

Cable seems well made, however, data transfer speeds much slower than advertised. Transfer of a video from an external hard drive was capped at 38 MB/s (changing out this cable to an Anker USB 4 cable improved transfer speed to high 400s).I did not test power delivery as I purchased this cable primarily for data transfer.

It works great out of box, when connecting my MacBook Pro and LG 4k monitor.

Wanted new cables and connectivity for a new laptop and this seems to tick all the boxes at a good price.Early days to assess durability but seems well built and able to deliver the speed and power I need for some time to come.
