DO NOT BUY. I bought this along with one from another brand, and this one is terrible. Like it doesn’t even stay on the bed it comes off immediately. It is also very flimsy so it doesn’t last long at all. The first time I put it on, it ripped. Spend a little more money on a better quality one. This one went straight in the trash after 2 uses

Very soft. Fits a thicker mattress

This is a impermeable fitted plastic bedsheet. The plastic is 4 mil in thickness (by comparison, a "heavy duty" garbage bag is about 1 mil or so. So, while this is not a tarpaulin, it is sufficiently thick and will not tear easily. It is fully waterproof, which I confirmed by pouring a gallon of water on top of it and letting it soak for a few hours. Because it is impermeable, liquid can spill over the sides, so you need to have something absorbent on top of it. I suggest either a towel, a mattress pad, or an extra fitted sheet. This will also help with air flow. otherwise, you may find it uncomfortable to sleep on. It's not fabric, so if you handle it roughly, it can rip or tear. I got one size up from what I needed, which allowed it to move around under the sheets, so that it was not pulled tight under tension. This worked well. I suppose you could rip it if you tried, but it is inexpensive, so if that happens, you can buy another one. There are a LOT of rubberized or treated fabric "waterproof" sheets out there, which are actually only water-resistant. They will all leak or fail over time. Don't waste your money on that garbage. However, THIS sheet is truly waterproof and it will protect your mattress from getting soaked! UPDATE: After one month of use, this was torn by my wife standing directly on the plastic. This was repaired easily with duct tape, but it is a reminder that if you handle this roughly, it can be torn. Always have a sheet, etc. between you and the plastic to keep this from happening. I still recommend this product, because it is easy to fix if torn, and it is very inexpensive. UPDATE TWO: After six months, this was torn again - well shredded actually, by the cat, so it's getting replaced. I bought another brand https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KDXMSMD/ which seems thicker and much more durable. However, in the six months that this lasted, it did save the bed from getting soaked a few times, so it was worth it to me!

I only needed this temporarily because of a pet situation so it's not a big deal for me but during the process of putting it onto the bed one of the corners ripped. It wasn't even under a lot of pressure so I was quite confused especially with the other 3 corners holding. The problem though is that eventually that rip kept spreading anytime a body was laying on the bed. Making it less of a cover, and sort of a "Protecting some places" layer. Luckily I don't need it anymore so I threw it away but I definitely don't recommend this item if you need something long term/sturdy.

This mattress cover is as described. It is the correct size and fits securely on the mattress.

Worst mattress protector I've ever used. Poor quality, crappy material and is very ill fitting. I know it was budget friendly, but don't waste your money!

This has held up well. I've washed it twice and it's still going strong. Super affordable! Lots of bang for your buck! Fits my Queen Mattress and doesnt ride up on the bed.

I got exactly what I expected for the money. In fact it's an overly generous fit due to fitting mattresses up to 8" deep, so a little tucking to keep the cover flat, but not taut. It's not silent - nothing is unless you're in space. But it's not as bad as other reviews state, so maybe they've softened the plastic. Anyhow, I find it comforting to hear that hushed soft plastic rustle as I sit down. I use a mattress liner over the top of this sheet, then my regular sheet over that; allows for a breathable set of layers. The sheet is reasonably thick; I don't see how it would tear easily unless you have vicious fingernails or a hedgehog for company. I've spent more on toweling lined/rubber backed types of sheets and they became non-watertight with little use, so I've gone back to basics with a plastic sheet. It's not a simple "sheet of plastic"; it has elasticated corners and the material is embossed with very fine grooves, presumably to add grip/micro air flow or suchlike. I'm pleased with this purchase. It's purely functional and won't win any design awards, but for an out of sight out of mind product it does what it says on the tin.

It is too small and it can’t cover the queen mattress. It is like a scam. Dealer can’t let us return once we bought it. It’s bad texture, bad material. Don’t buy it, not value at all. I contacted Amazon customer service and they told me that I can sell it again on Markerplace, it is very irresponsible. I hate Amazon. Now I feel worried when I order something on it because amazon can’t let me return or demand a high fee to return items that I ordered. It is like they force me to receive what I don’t want, don’t need. They forced me to keep it and I can just throw it into the garbage. Everybody should be cautious to order something on Amazon now.
