This is a much nicer fire guard than my old 3 panel one and a lighter weight than I thought it would be. There is a small paint chip on the ring on the front of the guard but not worth sending it back just for that. It came in a very sturdy box and I’m really happy with how neat it looks. I haven’t tested the heat resistance yet though. I would recommend.

A few weeks ago I had a near disaster when a plastic bag landed in the fire. (It's a gas fire, with an open hearth and simulated coals.) I was able to snatch it out again but was shaken at how close I had come to calamity. This fireguard sits in front of the fire and will prevent anything like that happening again! Inexpensive but effective and it looks nice as well. It was delivered well ahead of the target time, too! Recommended.

Bought to keep grandchild safe from electric fire after he discovered he could access the imitation coals. Arrived in good time and looks quite attractive with pattern around base. Unfortunately he discovered he could move the guard, so it is now secured to the fire surround with 3M adhesive strips and is staying in place. No more coals on the carpet!

I love this fireguard. I bought it because I opened up another fireplace in my house. I have ended up using this fireguard on my main fireplace because it fits so perfectly and I love that it is also convered at the top. The thing I love most about it, is that from whatever angle you look at the fire, you can see through the fireguard and it seems like there is nothing in the way. My old fireguard, though more ornate, obscured the view at some points. Bravo to the designer and producer.

good fireguard I like that it is one piece and it is sturdy however one fault they need to correct, the handle is not fixed well so it comes off, my husband managed tp put it back on with pliers but it needs securely fastening at the manufacturers
