Prescribed for use after Lumbar Back Surgery. Perfect gel ice pack size to cover surgical area and associated back area. Great gel pack because it does not freeze solid in the freezer. It remains flexible when it comes out of the freezer for ease of wrapping around affected area. It's also large enough to cover my surgically affected area. Only needs about an hour in the freezer to cool down. It is made of rugged flexible material and won't leak. Highly recommended. Instructions and doctor say not to use without wrapping it in a towel or something similar. I found the best wrap is a standard X-large men's cotton T-shirt (check photo). I wrap it once around the gel pad. It seems to provide the best protection while allowing cooling power of the pad to flow through to my back. Also instructed not to keep it on for more than about 10 minutes and use it 3 times per day.

I love these packs. They don’t have to be frozen to be cool. You can take them anywhere this is my second set that I’m buying at first bought mine two years ago I have metastatic breast cancer and was getting nerve damage in my arms so I would use regular ice packs at night, but they would always thaw and leave a mess so I found these and I really liked him and I have a friend suffering from the same thing so I’m buying these for her. They’re super easy to use. They have a little bit of thickness. They are soft and flexible and very durable. They’re easy to use. They mostly stay in place because of the size, but I like to wrap them around the arms.

Stays very cold for at least half an hour, then pretty cold for another twenty minutes or so. You will want to put it in a case / sleeve for the first twenty minutes, or just use it on top of clothing. Very large. Two-pack means I can switch between the two. Gel interior means it is thick throughout but flexible enough to conform to your body or be shoved in the corner of the freezer. Best of the five or six types of ice packs I've tried!

Great size. Perfect coverage for either top or underneath knee. Works for what you need and material seems durable. Just wish that the composition inside allowed it to freeze a little more to get colder, especially since it’s just cold and not able to be hot. It’s flexible and could also use a little more gel. Overall good product and effective because of size.

This ice pack is a life saver! I am so happy I purchased this ice pack for my mother’s post operative (hip replacement) regiment. It’s flexible, cools fast and is sturdy. I definitely recommend this item for anyone that needs ice therapy.

Bought this for my husband. He loves it. It’s very durable and easy to freeze and reuse. I ended up going back and buying another one so he could have a solid rotation when he needed them. I bought the large one too but the medium size is his favorite as it easier to use and much lighter. He uses it when he has a migraine and it fits the nape of the neck well. The flexibility and weight of the item is very comfortable and has easily become his favorite ice pack out of the different ones we have tried.

Heavy duty, sturdy, well made and superior time frame for remaining cold. Freezes well but keep mine in the refrigerator for ease of use and not getting too cold when on briefly. It is large enough to fold over my medium glove size hands. It does not come with a band to hold it in place but it is far better than the quality of those that do. I ordered four different kinds of ice packs for recovery from a broken wrist and this was the best of them all.

This large gel pack covers so much better than small packs. I can sit and still get the benefit of the cold on my back and hips. Perfect for my aches and pains! It is flexible and very well made, too. It gets REALLY cold in the freezer!

I’m autistic and heat intolerant and have been using cold packs daily for nearly 20 years to try and regulate my body temperature and to help with anxiety and sensory overload. I can’t comment on how these would help with pain but as someone who has tried probably every cold compress on the market these are the best. If you regularly use cold compresses you need these in your life. If you have anxiety, ptsd, sensory issues, allergies, etc. do yourself a favour and order these. Highlights: —GETS REALLY COLD! colder than most if you keep them in your freezer. —STAY COLD FOR HOURS. I have the large size ones as well and I use one every night to help me get to sleep and it’s still cool in the morning when I wake up. —DURABLE. Really heavy, large size kind of doubles as a weighted blanket/pillow. Not made out of flimsy plastic that will eventually crack or burst like the kind you get at the drugstore —EASY TO SANITIZE/CLEAN. The durable fabric is easy to sanitize with an alcohol wipe or soap and water and it’s DOESN'T ATTRACT LINT OR PET HAIR —FLEXIBLE AND COMFY. It’s flexible and mouldable so it’s comfortable to lay on squish around your body to envelope you in coldness. There’s no sharp pokey corners or plastic edges to poke your skin. The seam is covered with fabric and the corners are rounded. —TOLERABLE SKIN FEEL. Doesn’t feel sticky and gross like most plastic cold gel compress packs. This feels more matte and almost like it has a woven texture but not quite. It’s obviously still some kind of plastic but it’s not the shiny rubbery sticky kind that the drugstore cold packs are made from.

After I bought this model I was a bit worried that I might have picked a one which is too big, however, the size is perfect. If you have a back pump from gym and wanna lie on it or you wanna cover the whole knee the big size really comes handy. The material is really durable and the gel allowed it to be folded twice and being put in the freezer in a small corner comfortably.

Mzillzur achat de froid depuis longtemps. Ai pris ça plus pour la canicule que pour blessure et c'est top. Elle ne sedurcit pas comme d'autres "mini couverture" ou poches. Du coup facile à manier. Je les mets a plat dans congel les glisse dans taie oreiller pour mettre quelque chose de protecteur sur la peau. Et le tour est joué. Ca ne dure pas 45 a 1h comme dise certains, bien moins. Mais c'est suffisant pour s'endormir et rafraichir. Donc idem pour blessure (ai cheville blessée donc ai testé et c'est bien). 1 peu lourde mais pas insurmontable comme celles d'une autre marque retournées (bleu clair) que j'avais renvoyé.
