Solid Album
Solid album. Not surprises bar the "Let it Go" cover which is pretty cheesy but not a horror show.I prefer their previous album (cliche) but this has some good tracks on it.

Different but great
It's a big difference from Breathe In Life, featuring progressive/djent parts and more melodic guitar riffs in areas. which all in all is great, my only problem, and you can call me picky, is that Aaron's voice sounds a little over produced. but all together it is a great album and these guys keep going up and up

Great Sophomore Release
If you liked 'Breathe In Life', you will love this album. There's a great mix of heavy and melodic parts, like you should expect, and each part is very solid. I'm sure a lot of people will be talking about the cover of 'Let It Go' from the movie Frozen. It's a very unique cover song for a band like BTM and it's done in their own way so it's not like listening to a Disney song. It actually just shows that these guys have a sense of humor. It's quite funny the first time you hear it and it's not very obvious of what song it is until it gets to the chorus section. Anyway, overall, this is a very good melodic/death metal album. Take or leave 'Let It Go'. Every other song is very good, either way.

Modern Metal at its finnest!
Bottom line, Betraying the Martyrs is clearly a hybrid band of extremely gifted musicians. The singer combines clear vocals with guttural growls, a nice harmonic balance. The music clearly raises the bar meeting modern day standards. Over all a blend of powerful metal with the right overtone of synth and great vocals. Lets face clear vocals are a must in my (opinion), perhaps just grew out of the senseless screeches. In a perfect world metal would realize "hey, ya sounded better when you sing, instead of screech." This band raises the bar like so few.
