I bought this range hood a couple of months ago and just installed it. So I cannot say too much about the longevity of this product. But what I can talk about is the customer service I received when the original hood I installed had a problem. Customer Service: *** The seller Tieasy always responded to my messages very quickly *** After I contacted the seller through the Amazon order link, Tieasy Customer Service immediately responded. After sending them a video and description about what the problem was, Tieasy Support Team determined the possible cause of the problem quickly and gave me the option of a full refund or sending me a new replacement unit. Since all openings on the wall and cabinet were already made, I chose to get a replacement. Just installed the new unit a few days ago. It works like a charm. Pro: 1. I really like the appearance of this range hood. It is elegant and uniquely shaped which directs cooking fume to the exhaust opening very effecient. 2. On the highest of the 3 CFM settings, it moves a lot of air. You can feel it. 3. The noise level on the highest CFM setting is not bad at all. I haven't done any noise measurement, but I can say it is much quieter than two of my previous exhaust hoods. It doesn't bother me at all. *** I believe the 7-inch diameter exhaust duct helps a great deal with CFM and noise reduction. *** Con: The 7-inch exhaust duct and vent cover are not as easy to find. I bought a 8ft 7-inch semi-regid duct at the local home store L*wes (the only place I could find) and the plastic louver vent cover (7-inch) at ventmyhouse.C*M. Based on the experience of my interactions with Tieasy Customer Service, I highly recommend this seller.

Update: I was contacted by this seller with a full refund offer. Then they change their mind and request for me to contact them by email outside the Amazon messaging system. They sent the address within a picture attachment to bypass Amazon rule. After many back and forth without addressing the main issue of the non-repairable dent and scratch. They just told me to do the exchange/return. While dragging on for days leave me little time to return. So I have to haul everything back to UPS as that is the only option for oversize item return. To other potential shoppers. Check your order right away if anything wrong returns it asap, and don't waste your time with their after sale team they will tell you they are checking with their engineer this and that and give you the run around. Bottom line think twice before ordering from this seller as it will take 2 people and a truck to move a box that won't fit in a truck to move a box that won't fit in a regular car's trunk space. I paid $329 for it and thought it was a great deal. UPDATE ^^^^ It is loud on the test run maybe better when the duct is hooked up. But I don't think I will find out. The gesture control works fine. It is better not to use touch anyway as the glass is finger print magnet. The problem I am having with this unit I received is that it is clearly a reject from QC where there are 2 locations with sharpie marking indicate there is a scratch on the metal surface. One you wouldn't see once installed because it will be on top under the cabinet. But the 2 bigger scratches are on the side toward the front portion of the machine. And they are 2 parallel scratches about 3 inch long. I don't think they are trying to hide it with the sharpie. Then it must mean they were marked during quality control. Also there is a plastic over on the top side that is bowing out, looks like it have holes for 6 screws but only 2 was used. Just check out the pictures and see for yourself. I will go e it a week hopefully the seller will contact me with a solution. Really wish this is a good deal I been looking for.

Comes very well packed, like a flat screen. Clear instructions and hardware for under cabinet, wall or side mount. Fyi come with a 7" exhaust outlet, duct and house outlet has to purchase separately to your vent choice. Very nice contemporary and easy to clean design with the black tempered glass surface. 900cfm is a solid suction

Super loud airflow at every speed and the suction doesn’t seem to exhaust much as expected. The light is bright white and doesn’t dim. The cost doesn’t match the quality.

So overall I really really like the hood. It’s 900cfm and compared to how loud they are this guy is very quiet. At max you may feel like you need to raise your voice a little but this is a very powerful hood so ai’m not sure what you’d expect. We had a 900 previously and we could not hold a conversation at all it was super loud. So to compare this is very nice! I love the glass I was afraid that black would show everything but the slant really is forgiving. The seller is very helpful and accommodating and that makes this even better.

We got it and installed it only ti find out that to have it in the ductless configuration we need to buy another conversion kit that is not available anywhere. The web description specifically states this can be used as ductless but they conveniently forget to mention that you need a conversion kit that is practically impossible to find for this brand. This is very bad cause the company has no website no support at all. I have bought a generick conversion kit which I hope will work.

The noise is too loud, and the exhaust hood's effectiveness is mediocre.

The problems I found for this range hood is very noisy, the reason I replaced my old one is so loud but this is same loud 😅And the smells cooking still in the house after I cooked and stick on my all hanging jackets, this is not happening before I used my old one. The vent window outside is not open all that’s means the air doesn’t go out . And I couldn’t find anyway you can clean it , the fan inside is all in cover with the glass .please think about it before you want to buy , because when you return you need to pay the postage by self , is a big box The only thing for this range hood is only looks elegant other then that I could not give any good comment

I purchased this to replace a very low-CFM under-cabinet range hood. It's definitely more effective than my prior range hood, but it's not quieter - which was very disappointing. Under-cabinet installation was more cumbersome than I had anticipated, and is definitely a 3-person job since it's awkward to hold up below the cabinet while someone else fastens 4 screws above the cabinet and into the range hood. The touchless controls are very nice. According to SNDOAS (Tieasy alternative brand), speed 1 operates at 680 CFM, speed 2 at 750 CFM, and speed 3 at 900 CFM and "under 63 db". From my experience, the suction power is great, but the noise level at speed 1 is between 68-70db when not installed, and 72db once installed (more details to follow). Admittedly, I didn't plan ahead what kind of ductwork would be needed: this unit comes with a 7-inch diameter outlet and my home has 5-inch ductwork. I ended up buying a 7-to-5 reducer from an industrial store, but the trade-off is it operates louder and less effectively. I don't mind since I only run it at speed 1 majority of the time, though I do recommend preparing 7-inch ductwork to get the most out of this unit. I believe most homes in Ontario have either 5 or 6-inch ducts for range hoods, but be sure to do your own research and plan ahead. I hope the reviews for this product get pruned because some of the 5-star reviews are for a different range hood (evidenced by their photos), which misled me while making the purchase. Overall I ended up keeping it because it looks great and meets expectations with its performance; I just really wish it were quieter, or could operate at a lower speed for speed 1.

If I reviewed this after my initial installation, I would have said the unit is very nice looking, but it was loud and seemed to work similar to the unit it replaced which was less CFM - with would have been a average unit at best. The unit itself is very modern, and while I have not had to use it, I like the idea of the self cleaning out the grease - when I took my old unit out I had to wear gloves because it was covered in grease, I cleaned the filters out reularly but the inside, and surprising the outside was full of these hard yellow grease bumps. I'm on the fence for the opening/closing of the vent, it's neat how when it is open it directs the steam better, but this could be something else that could break down on the unit. Gester controls are neat, but not needed also. I had a friend over for dinner and I was talking about this rangehood and how I was finding it louder and not really sucking any better than my old unit. The first thing he said is are the vents the right size... My anwers was - want are you talking about (I did have to get a piece to install it to change sizes).... Turns out that the unit I had before required a small diameter vent because it was lower CFM, adding the convertor was actually causing this fan to and push the air through a air that was not ideal. So we redid the vent pipes and my review quickly changed to a WOW, this thing is awesome. With the consistant sized venting the sound was lowered by a pretty large amount, also the suction now seems so much stronger than my old unit. So you need to pay attention to the size of the vent, if it get reduced anywhere, it restricts the air which increases the sound and holds back the suction. (I have an open attic above for swapping out the large vent was a pretty easy job). I COMPLETELY recommend this hoodrange as long as the venting is the right sized. **I had no quality issues with my unit, everything was presetine when I opened the box, not marker marks and no scratches.*****
