GREAT FAN & GREAT VALUE!
This is a powerful fan that will be great for keeping my room cool with increasing temperatures; Very stable even thought it is tall. the oscillation is a great way to cool any room and the remote make it easy to adjust from anywhere in the room. The noise is manageable and this is a great fan for the money!

Perfect for large, open living room.
A little loud on Turbo mode, but it is called Turbo mode for a reason. It works great! Really good air movement and force.

Love Vornado fans!
We love our vornado fans! They have lasted us many years and work really great. Very nice quality and lots of different speeds to choose from.

Good fan but does not oscillate
Powerful but this model does not oscillate. If it did, it would be 5 stars all the way

Slim oscillating tower with a lot of force
It doesnโt take up much room but produces a lot of air movement. Great for tight areas, this Vornado fan is a great value for the money. It cools a room quickly and the Vornado name is dependable. There is even a remote control and a timer for us couch potatoes.

Good Fan, Not a Great Fan
If I could do half stars this is a 3.5 - Good fan, not a great fan. Part of this is a problem with the form factor, really hard to aim the fan given its twisted mouth. I know it's designed to mostly be used with the oscilation function, but if you want to target a certain area it requires a lot of finagling to figure out where it hits because every few inches is a different vector for the air. But the biggest problem is the dead zones on the air vents. The top and bottom 6 inches or so do not produce air. Which is a problem if you bought this thing for height and coverage. That's a foot of the vents that don't produce air, which isn't nothing. Also more loud than powerful. It'll get the job done, but there are more powerful options that do it with less noise at the highest setting. It does seem robust, I don't see it dying soon and could take a hit and seems smartly designed in terms of form factor, if not for the problems listed above.

I write this review not just to comment on the product but also to warn new owners to open the box right side up. I made the mistake of opening the box upside down (Amazon had put the mailing label in the wrong direction), and as a result couldn't locate certain key parts, notably the remote and the four screws needed to secure the base to the fan. I contacted Amazon to see how I could get replacement parts, and they actually arranged for a replacement fan to be sent. Fortunately, I realized that I had not checked under the cardboard packaging at the "real" top of the box, and lo and behold, there were the "missing" parts, so I canceled the fan replacement. As others have noted, this tower fan wobbles as it works, but I suspect Vornado may have built in some wobble to protect the oscillator bearings from harm when people or pets inevitably bump into the fan. Otherwise, the fan puts out a lot of air very quietly, oscillates as advertised, and looks cool doing it all. The fact is, in my experience, Vornado fans cost a little more than some other brands, but they look and work better, offering more years of service. So this tower fan is a welcome addition to my studio apartment in what looks like a hot summer, and I give it two well-cooled thumbs up...

It's a fan.
Update, after a few days I noticed there is a vampire load. For those that don't understand it is a draw of current when off. The power button stays lit when it is n the off mode. There is no dimming of that, it is always on. So if you care about your electricity bill you have to unplug the unit when it is off. For the price, I find this unacceptable. Off should mean off. Dimming the fan speed "to save electrify" while on seems nice, the vampire load is a killer for me. Find another fan. There is no explanation of "complete circulation of all the air in the room" in the manual. I have no idea how to get to that setting. Also, one of the video reviews say the remote is held in by magnets. If there are magnets they are the 1960 version of the weakest magnets ever. My remote sits on top by gravity alone. However.it isn't super loud at the highest setting. It blows air, it unsettles the dust bunnies on my wood floor noticed.
