Earthsea: The First Four Books (A Puffin Book)

Who is the greatest high fantasy writer? Tolkien or Le Guin? For me the matter as she writes in a way that is always relevant, always powerful. I doubt whether anybody will ever be able to achieve this level again, but let's see. BTW not a children's book a book for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see.

I've read it before, several times. It always repays reading again as you see fresh things. I love her writings, they are inspiring. After reading this I also re-read the two following volumes. So satisfying.

Wonderful stories, told beautifully by an unfussy writer. If you love fantasy but want characters who aren't too melodramatic read these classic tales.
