Good price but quality control is a miss
Decent sound absorption, but some tiles arrived with stains and inconsistent colors.

Solid choice for a good price
Acoustical panels can get pretty pricy, especially for really good ones. This pack of 12 is a good value and looks nice too. Add it in a fun pattern to create a unique look while controlling the sound. Helps with echo and sounds like walking and talking in corridors.

Elevate Your Studio Aesthetic with Hexagon Soundproof Panels
I'm repurposing these 12 Pack Acoustic Panels in a creative way to build a unique studio background with RGB lighting, rather than using them for soundproofing. Their hexagon design and self-adhesive feature make it easy to arrange and attach to a backerboard, allowing me to customize my studio setup creatively.Full Disclosure: I received this product through Amazon Vine, but I assure you that my review is entirely my own, uninfluenced by my Vine membership. Nice panels but not foam, not true white, bigger than other brands
TL;DR - These acoustic panels are not bad. But they're very poorly described and they don't play nice with other brands in terms of color or size so don't plan on mixing & matching.I've experimented with a bunch of different acoustic products over the last 9 months as I've been putting together a home recording studio (for VO work, streaming, and video tutorials). I'm not an acoustic expert; all I know is what I've learned in the process of taking a bare room with horrible acoustics to a place where my son and I can work.First, these panels ARE NOT foam. They're some sort of polyester(?) felt-like material. Very similar to other brands of acoustic panels. But that's not a bad thing. In fact, this type of material is much more effective than any foam product of this thickness. Acoustic foam and thin acoustic panels like this are two completely different products. These 0.4" panels can be very effective because they are much more dense than foam.Second, I was hoping to add these in with my existing Bub*s acoustic panels but they're too big. So you'll need to commit to this particular brand. Or at least start with this brand as the basic framework dimensions and add in smaller panels. But if you've started with smaller panels, these panels can't be integrated.Third, the color is a very light gray, not white. How critical that is to your purchasing decision depends on you. Just know that if you already have other white panels, these are going to look dingy.Fourth, I personally appreciate that these are not self-adhesive. The advantage to panels like this is that you can choose a non-destructive installation method. I used Command hook/loop strips in some areas and T-pins in others. Both methods work great. But they definitely add to the cost of the project (especially the Command strips). If you don't plan on ever taking the panels down or aren't worried about damaging your walls when you remove the panels, then self-adhesive panels are a less expensive, easier option.

Easy to install, look great on any wall
These are super easy to install. They have adhesive backing, just remove the paper and stick it on. The adhesive is strong enough that if i tried to pull it off, im pretty positive some paint would come off the wall. So you need to be pretty confident thats where you want them, and have a plan and a pattern of some sort. If they are crooked, it stands out, so once again, put in some time planing. This package came in 2 colors-blue and grey. The panels are the same, the edges are straight so when you place them next to each other, there are no gaps. They can probably be cut if needed, but the edges wouldn’t match the factory edges. There are not enough in one package to notice any significant difference in sound on thermal insulation, but im sure it adds up. It also looks a little different than just a bare wall, so its a nice addition to any wall
