Peeling Paint. The jug works fine as such,but the sprayed on colour starts to peel, looking unsightly. I did order the plain stainless but a grey one turned up....

Nice price, good capacity, keeps coffee warm for a good while, it’s not easy to break (I’ve broken two crystal French presses…), and super easy to clean. All-round recommended item!

I have had plastic ones that fail quickly, glass ones that can’t stand a knock and this one that so far seems fantastic. Does the job, looks good and it’s sturdy. I can’t think I will need spare parts or how easy this would be but can’t think of any downside to my purchase.

I don't drink coffee, but bought one of these to use instead of a teapot (I almost exclusively use loose leaf tea). It has been a great purchase. I find I have to use less tea, to achieve the same strength of flavour, than with a teapot with a suspended infuser. I guess this is due to the more efficient infusion. I also retain the benefit of the tea being strained before pouring. Because I need to use less tea, this product will actually save me money over the longer term as well (and it's robust enough to be confident that it will continue to function for many years to come). It even looks good. Highly recommended for tea drinkers.
