Series 5 Replacement Head 52S for Braun Electric Shaver (2 Count)

I’ve had the Shaver for about 10 years now and have gone through multiple head replacements. This head replacement works great and fit my razor perfectly.

These are terrible replacement heads, plastic components instead of metal, they rattle, and the central head is too high so it is quite uncomfortable on the skin. I only ordered them because the genuine ones weren’t available at the time. Unfortunately I didn’t install one until the return window had expired, so I’m stuck with them but hopefully anyone who reads this review can avoid wasting their money.

Originally, I ordered a cheapo version because that's what popped up in the search. It shows as being delivered, but being so small, I might have thrown it out with other empty Amazon boxes, anyway, I didn't see it. Then finally my aging brain remembered the term "OEM" (Original Equipment Manufacturer), so I went looking for that for my razor. The reviews on the cheapo were at best lacking. The OEM head I received, as usual, cost more; however, it works perfectly. My razor works like it's new again, and I strongly recommend this product.

Works great

Don’t waste your money. Very poor quality, not sharp and didn’t last long. After about four months it didn’t cut well and pulled. Also started to get sharp burrs on the foil and scratched the skin a lot.

Better quality than most of the replacements I have tried. Has held up good over time and use.

Doesn’t work as well as OEM.

Dull blades. Hard to get a clean cut. Not as good as the original
