- Amazon Fire TV Soundbar, 2.0 speaker with DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Audio, Bluetooth connectivity

I recently got this soundbar while setting up a bedroom TV. It sounds very good, especially for its compact size. Setup is a breeze, and the Bluetooth function makes it easy to setup in a place that you like without needing to worry about running cables. There is hardware included for wall mounting the speaker, but mine just lives on a TV stand. I think the appearance is high-quality, the matte black look blends in well with the environment and I appreciate there not being any annoying logos on the top or front. The included remote controller is handy, but a bit small, I could imagine someone misplacing it easily. Thankfully the controls on the top of the soundbar handle all the important features you might need. You might be able to find a similar soundbar for slightly cheaper, but I think this is a solid value if you need a compact soundbar.

I bought a HUGE Fire TV. Perfect for watching movies. Everyone who visited, loved it. “You have yourself a little theater here, “ said my father. However, I felt as if the standard sound coming out of the television, itself, wasn’t enough. That it wasn’t providing the FULL theater effect. I decided to search for a compatible soundbar but they were all well over $100. As if Amazon’s Alexa knew me, I saw this particular sound bar that I liked. It didn’t look too bulky and the reviews said that it was quite easy to install. In days, this soundbar dropped right under $100, to $99.99. SOLD! I LOVE this Fire Soundbar! I love that it is so PERFECTLY compatible with my Fire TV. So much so that I only have to use one, whichever one, to turn the volume up or down. When I turn the television off, using its own remote, the soundbar turns off by itself. So, I never have to worry about it remaining on when it is not in use. I LOVE that it has three settings, one for dialogue, another for music, and another for movies. I LOVE that it was so easy to install! Just TWO cables. One for the power and one to connect the television to the soundbar. The shape at the ends of the cable are the same and you can’t get confused because there is only ONE hole with that shape at the back of the soundbar and at the back of the television. If you were good, as a child, at putting the square peg into the square hole and the round one into the round hole, you will certainly get this. I decided to connect the cable so that I would never have to deal with bluetooth connectivity issues/slowness. Connectivity just seems more secure and direct with the cable. The sound? What a world of difference! Now the package is complete! You get the full theater effect! My family loves to watch movies with me! I love bass. But for those of you who don’t, you are able to make easy adjustments. I LOVE to listen to the introductory sounds right before the movie begins. It makes me feel—-due to the sound—-like I am sitting at the theater. I also LOVE that if I am in the living room and the television is off, and I just want to listen to some music. I can connect my phone via the bluetooth feature, to my soundbar, and use it as a speaker! How cool is that? I HIGHLY recommend this little soundbar, especially for those who already have a Fire Television!

Added this to our outside tv... Outside tv's notoriously have bad sound! This was a simple cheap way to get some sound! Super easy plug and play as our outside tv runs on Amazon Fire software...

I absolutely love these speakers! It’s great for gaming, watching tv shows and movies! It’s best in bedrooms though! If you have a fire tv and this together, you’re getting such high quality for your money. Highly recommended for those who want to experience such clear and booming sound! Also, hook it up to your HDMI/ARC plugin too.

So, I have a insignia fire tv so you would think an Amazon fire soundbar would work perfectly? It was particularly hard to set up, but the issue was that tv speakers wouldn't switch off so I would have an echoing, double effect of audio. The setting said they were off, but they were not. In fact, I couldn't even switch them off normally. Even with nothing connected, I switch them off and still get sound pushed through. I kept trying to fix it. What I had to do was: 1) Settings 2) HDMI-CEC control 3) Switch One Touch Play off 4) Turn off Soundbar 5) Set Volume to 0 6) Turn Soundbar back on That seem to let the soundbar function independently, get rid of the echoing, and get everything to work as described. The downside, the volume will only go up and down at 2 intervals despite what I set it to internally. And, there is no easy way to switch between the TV and sound bar for audio without screwing up the good result I got after working all day on it. Also, make sure you plug into your first HDMI port/Arc port. I had my gaming console set up and didn't realize my intital issue of no sound was the fact that I needed to swap the ports. Frankly, being an Amazon soundbar with and Amazon TV that specifically has a set up for it. I would say the functionality kind of sucks because it it should just work, like it says it should, by following the instructions without having to search up and down for way to keep both audios from playing. Like, the setting say the internal speakers were off despite being a lie and that setting effected nothing. It made it more difficult them it needed to get it to work somewhat normally. I would prefer to set it so volume interval is 1 but I guess to make this usable I am stuck at 2 everytime. And, I better hope that nothing changes and messes it up again in a update to the TV. The sound itself is a improvement, and there is a marked difference between regular and surround sound. It sort of like watching TV versus going to a theater. It terms of the way it fills the room and hits your ear. I can't say that the movie, music, dialogue settings seem to different to me. The size is okay. It just tall enough to not block my screen. The length is just about the size of my dresser. Depth is about 3.5 inches so as long as you have another room in front or to push back your TV, you will be fine. Overall, it is nice but I am not sure if I am total happy I bought it considering it was almost $90 for what I would categorize as works okay. I feel like for that price, and the fact I specifically bought Amazon for the fact I thought it would better with fire tv, that I am not blown away. Happy for now, but not impressed.

My Amazon Fire TV is a little older and lately I’ve noticed that I have to turn the sound way up to sometimes hear movies. The sound bar was very easy to set up and the sound is great!

Absolute junk. I wanted to love this device. Plugged it in.. followed easy instructions. And then.. over the past two months it was downhill. If your the type of person that watches just prime.. it might be fine. But if your the type to do games.. switch to youtube and other apps this is not worth it.. every channel.. every app you switch to you have to fix something. Youtube is either mumbled or echoing.. Same with other apps. And guess what? If you shut the speaker off.. the next time you switch to another hdmi to play a dvd or a game.. it comes on blaring again even though you turned it off.. And Game systems? It’s a crap shoot. Sometimes you have audio.. sometimes you dont. And if you try and switch anything.. the screen goes black for five seconds in the middle of a battle. I have tried every single setting there is.. Also.. it comes on blaring sometimes. If your spouse is sleeeping and you decide to switch modes? It YELLS.. optical.. HDMI.. or whatever so loud it wakes everyone in the house up! I have tried HDMI connections.. optical.. and bluetooth all have the same issues.. it either has too much bass or its too tinny… This speaker is utterly useless.. UNLESS.. you simply watch one thing.. you dont switch to other hdmi sources … then it will keep your settings. But who does this? One thing more.. This constantly disconnects your tv speakers.. so if you wish to use those instead (such as on certain apps).. you have to go into settings and switch to tv audio output (tv speakers). And guess what? Usually? It’s grayed out.. and you have to unplug your tv for a few minutes.. disconnect the soundbar entirely and unplug it too.. THEN.. replug your tv in.. start it.. go to settings and see if it’s finally “ungrayed” so you can choose tv speakers.. Ive done this multiple times this morning. How the heck is this convenient?
