Works well but uses alot of batteries (Double A)
This ashtray goes through alot of batteries but it seems to be worth it. It has significantly reduced the smell of ciggarette smoke in the house. Also it is quite loud. If I am watching t.v., I usually pause what I'm watching til I'm done with my smoke so I can hear the t.v.

Battery life is terrible.
The batteries (Duracell) run out daily even though it was not left on. The ashtray itself keeps turning off as my boyfriend is smoking his cigarette. It keeps the smoke away when it works right so that is a plus, it doesn't light up as the picture shows, however, so that was disappointing. Overall I was disappointed and had to purchase something different.
