Works perfectly out of the box. Few hours on the charger for each battery and it’s good to go. Lined up perfectly, beeps to warn you if it’s on a surface so uneven it can’t auto-level. Appreciate that it came with a softo case and a few accessories too. Great tool, really really great value ($41) compared to the several hundred dollar alternatives.

I do all of my own home improvement and my old laser died after 20+ years. I didn't want to spend $150+ for the brand that matches my other cordless tools, so I thought I'd try this one. What a great deal! Great function (self leveling is spot on)! Great value (under $50)! Great accessories (if you can't find a way to mount this, you aren't trying)!Because of the location of my first project with this laser, I wasn't able to use the wall mount plate (which has a VERY strong grip), so the only downside was that I had to add another magnet underneath to make sure it stuck well to the side of my garage fridge.Having all the axes available to shoot level and plumb lines is great. This going to be a welcome addition to my tool kit.

I couldn't justify shelling out the money for one of the expensive "name brand" laser levelers for my budget renovation. With the option to return this if i was not satisfied with the performance, I figured I'd give it a shot having nothing to lose. I was impressed with the accuracy, brightness and functionality to non-budget comparable levelers. I used this over the course of a year's+ renovation and achieved impressive results with continuous compliments in a commercial storefront. The batteries are still going strong with long life and the included storage case and accessories (of questionable quality) are additional bonuses. I don't do this type of work for a living but the low cost and usefulness of this device have opened up a world of possibilities for this amateur DIYR!

It works great for making things level but it has to be treated like the delicate instrument it is. The price is great.

This little gadget is amazing, comes with 2 batteries, accessories to help you with different heights. I have not bought a tripod yet but I do recommend one.Bought this to help me hang up paintings and art and I couldn’t be happier. Will use it to hang a tv on the wall also.Simple to use, if it’s beeping it’s not level, the remote control is handy. It’s accurate as I checked the lines with a level and spot on. Overall great product and price!

I really wanted to like this little laser. Inside, it does an excellent job. Unfortunately, the project I bought it for is sloping my yard. I tried this on a very overcast day and could not see the beam more than maybe 12 feet from the laser. I really only needed it to go about 35 feet but it just wasn't up to the task. It has a nice selection of accessories, although they are somewhat cheaply made, for the DIYer it would be perfect. You do need to supply your own tripod but not a dealbreaker at all as I have several lying around. If you're doing picture frames other indoor work, the price point makes us a good purchase but it is not an all-around laser. Will be initiating a return immediately.

I’m not a pro, but this laser level is great! It comes with 2 batteries. I checked the laser line with a level and its leveling mechanism is correct. It is very easy to use, very bright, and seems like it will last a long time. The alignment is correct. It also comes with a soft storage case with foam padding. I’m sure I will use this for years.
