Great tasting long grain rice!
Perfectly delicious rice. My favorite method of cooking is simply baking it with some hot water, salt and butter.

My favorite basmati brand
I have tried different brands of basmati rice over the years and found Tilda to be the best. It makes a fragrant, fluffy rice that has a delicious flavor. I use this rice for my Indian and Middle Eastern recipes.

Tilda great rice!
This was my first time trying Tilda rice. I had heard so many great things about this rice and the fact that it was the lowest on the arsenic scale so I really wanted to try it out.The rice was good, really good and even better in my shrimp fried rice.I cooked it in my zojirushi fuzzy logic pearl micom rice cooker and the flavor was great. The rice is a little longer than the Dynasty Jasmin rice that I'm used to.I bought this rice in the 4 pound bag but it also comes in smaller and larger qualities in 10 and 20 pounds. I will buy again.

Good basic rice.
Not sure this is that much better than the grocery store brand we have been purchasing. Cooks magazine rated it number one so of course I had to try it. The grains of rice seem longer. Might not order again since it costs more.

Gouging
Received an order on April 23, 2025 of Tilda Basmati Rice. The cost was $14.99 for 4 lbs. On June 1, considered orderinganother 4 lbs, but the price had jumped to $17.99 or 20 percent.Potential tariffs were reduced and up for review on Jluly 8, 2025.Though Tilda rice is good, it isn't worth a 20 percent gouging increase.

....my family hates brown rice
I'd never had much success cooking brown rice so we bought a rice steamer here at Amazon. I grabbed this long grain basmati at the grocery store. It cooked up fluffy and nutty; my family couldn't get enough. We ate it with curries and stir frys and even plain, for breakfast. When the store ran out of Tilda basmati, we tried several other brands- even some very expensive 'designer' rices. None tasted as good, many were bitter and none cooked to such a perfect texture.(yes, I modified water amounts and experimented with the others)Our grocer has not restocked this rice. I'm here to order it through Amazon.
