Replaced four T8 florescent tube lights with two of these. Picked up two $4 light fixtures to replace the T8 fixtures, 45 minute later these two bulbs lit up the 3 stall garage like daylight. A few shadows, but nothing to stress out about. Also replaced the light switch with motion sensor with auto off. The garage is now lit when needed, off when not.

Put 2 in my garage. The light output is very good and mimics daylight My garage celling is high enough that the size of the bulb is not an issue. This was an easier and more cost effective option to putting in several "shop light " fixtures. I will be buying 2 more soon. So much better than the 100 watt standard bulbs that were there.

I bought these to upgrade my existing light bulbs (2 CFL) that were just not bright enough to use my garage as a workshop. I do a fair bit of woodworking in there, and actually ended up hanging an LED shop light to help out. It works, but because of some stuff that's gotten piled up along the back wall of the garage, it's difficult to plug in the shop light. With no where to put the stuff, I figured the easiest way to get more light was to just replace the existing bulbs, and MAN these things are bright. The picture doesn't really do it justice. I don't know how to adjust my camera so that the light doesn't cause the rest of the image to get too dark.One thing to note - these things are big. Not big as in wide, but big as in long. Like 8-10 inches long, so you aren't going to find a light fixture that these will fit in. I was lucky because the fixtures in my garage are just plain old ceramic bulb holders that point straight down. Lucky for me! These things work well, are a good daylight color, and will last for years!Update - So much for lasting for years. One of the two bulbs has a strip of lights on one side that are now flickering off and on. So, one of the two bulbs is in the process of failing 14 months after purchase. For that reason I docked a star from the review. For the conspicuous lack of contact information for the manufacturer on Amazon or even google, I docked it a second star. I'll leave the remaining three stars for now because these have been really great lights, but if anything else happens, the rating will drop again.Update 2 - I found the company's contact information via Amazon, and despite being out of warranty by 1 month, the company replaced BOTH of the bulbs with new ones. I was pleasantly surprised by their actions, so I'm giving back 1 star. The replacement bulbs seem brighter than the others. Hopefully they'll last longer.

These bulbs are very bright and light up my garage like I was hoping for. I only needed three and one went out in about two months so no big deal I had an extra. So far they are still working. I wrote a review earlier without any exaptation of any feedback from the seller, but to my surprise they contacted me right away and processed a refund. I would have to say the customer service is incredible. When I need more I will buy from this seller again. Thanks.

These are excellent bulbs if you need a lot of daylight for little money. But be aware of the form factor. While commendably slim, about the width of a standard halogen bulb, they are very tall and will stick out of many light fixtures. If that would be a problem, measure before ordering.

Bright but watt stingy, great way to save. I have replaced incandescent bulbs in most locations- first with CFL and now am replacing them with LED. These are great but I recommend using them only in open fixtures where 150 - 250 watt light equivalent is wanted. I also plan to start taking out all 4' fluorescent fixtures and putting in LED ones to save on my electric bill.

Great bulb! I have been testing some super-bright LED bulbs and this one is my current favorite pick, for value and brightness.I measured each bulb to take about 36 watts at the wall. This is very good for how much brightness they put out.They are VERY long bulbs, so just be sure that's fine for your application.A great deal.

so it's sad to report that on one of the bulbs that half of one has burned out and does not work im guessing the other one will join this one soon very sad I enjoyed the light while it lasted. There is a couple more down sides to this lamp there clearly is a way for small bugs like mosquitoes and gnats to get inside the glass tubes housing the cobs and I'm guessing the cobs burned out due to insufficient heat sinks on the cobs as a matter of fact it looks like the are no heat sink what so ever on the board probably wouldnt be back if I didnt live in a desert I would like a refund or upgraded replacement if that is possible. On the other hand I do love the brightness of the bulbs they barely use any watts compared to their intensity
