Classic nail polish

I like Essie as a brand and the shade of ‘Island Hopping’ is as good as the rest. I chose it to match a dress for a wedding and it is just lovely. It is almost a neutral and it really suited and flattered my pale skin tone. It is easy to apply with no clumping. You can get away without a base coat, as there’s no staining, and two thin coats gives a lovely depth. It gave a gorgeous smooth finish with a decent shine as it is, but a clear top coat elevated it again. It did dry pretty quickly, even with multiple coats. It lasted for 6 days with no chipping and very little wear, but I did put the clear coat under the tip of the nail. Really good value and I just love it. Happy to recommend.

I love this Essie nail polish, it's one of those 'not quite there's polishes that gives your nails a boost, but without loads of colour.I'm not a great fan of heavy colour polishes, I can never put them on well and, frankly, they go everywhere! The Essie Mademoiselle is a very sheer pink with a very high gloss finish that is impossible to mess up. It also looks great over a darker colour if you want to tone it down a little.This colour doesn't streak (I find all Essie polishes good for that) and goes on easily with a decent thickness. It also doesn't take too long to dry and a second or third coat will also dry well as long as the coat before is dry.The staying power of this colour is great, I can get a good week with two coats and it still looks fine.I have already bought another bottle, because I know I'm going to be using it both on its own and over darker colours. It's one of those beauty finds you're really glad to come across!

Perfect milky pink colour exactly what I was looking for. Subtle natural barely there colour and shine. Paired this with the essie topcoat to give it a good finish. Knocked one star off as it did take 3 coats to get the colour and it’s still a little streaky in places… me being picky. Overall very happy.

I got the birthday girl nail polish on sale and can't recommend it enough!! The color is absolutely stunning, there's a lot of really fine glitter that makes this look like a pretty pink gold color. I really love wearing this by itself and also layered over other nail polishes. It adds a really nice gold sheen when you layer it over a different colour. It doesn't take too long to dry, though I did give it at least an hour before washing my hands or doing anything else. Of course, this is a regular nail polish so I'm sure it will get chipped etc but I don't think that is avoidable. I prefer painting my own nails though as it's more cost effective and better for your health (no issues with gel allergies etc.). The nail polish isn't too thick and it's really easy to apply.

Nice shine and easy to apply, the colour is great light pink it is not over the top and more of a natural finish so you can still see but not to obvious. Drying time takes a few minutes, it is definitely not clumpy or thick or gloomy it has the right amount and applies perfectly .

This is 3 layers of the Ballet Slippers shade. You have to layer it up to get it even and streak-less.I still think it looked cute with just 1 layer as I like the sheer look, but for those who want pigment you’ll have to triple layer. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because it seems to be more tan/beige coloured on the advertisement, but in reality it’s more pinkish. Not exactly the colour I wanted but it’s close enough and still cute! It’s mostly white with a very subtle pale pink tone.

Good as a general colour but also as a top coat for other colours to enhance or quieten different shades . I've used it on cheap pearl earrings to give them a hint of sparkle .

I don't usually leave product reviews but I'm obsessed with this nail varnish. 100% best on the market - I've tried almost all recommended options because I was tired of shellac ruining my nails, and the faff of having to have it taken off each month, but still wanted my nails to look nice. This nail varnish looks like shellac after 3 coats, doesn't chip, lasts for at least 2 weeks AND doesn't ruin your nails. I'm completely sold and will not be going to a nail salon anytime soon!

Dies ist mein zweiter Lack von Essie und ich muss sagen, dass sich der Preis für dieses Produkt echt lohnt. Er hält viel länger als die normalen Lacke. Ich bin begeistert und werde mir noch weitere bestellen.Die Farbe ist toll und nicht zu grell und aufdringlich. Trocknet schnell! Habe mir aber auch der HP von Essie genau durchgelesen wie lange man die jeweiligen Schichten trocknen lassen soll. Dann hält es echt knapp eine Woche (mit Überlack). Noch länger wäre toll aber es ist so schon praktisch.

Toller Nagellack und tolle Farbe.Wie immer begeistert davon 😃Oft reicht auch ein Anstrich dann wirkt es noch etwas zarter.Pinsel ist sehr schön zum auftragen
