Great album but the parcel was not well protected and caused damage to the cover.

Classic Bowie, classic album, 180 gram, great sound with a limited edition gold queen!!

'Hunky Dory' has got to be Bowie's finest album yet along with 'The Rise and Fall Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders from Mars', 'Space Oddity' and 'Aladdin Sane'. Every song on it is superb from 'Changes' to 'The Bewlay Brothers'. I disagree entirely with people who say it's Bowie's worst product, it has brilliant tracks such as 'quick sand', 'Fill your heart' (my personal favourite) and 'kooks'. Before I had listened to this album I hadn't heard any of his songs before, since then I have cherished his music like my bible. Give this album to any Bowie hater and they will be buying his albums for the rest of their life. A great album from a great man.

Unfortunately, it was not the version I wanted, I was looking for the CD with both Life on Mars? and Ashes to Ashes on, to replace the disc that I had stolen. I already have this version, so have to return the disc for someone else to enjoy.

outside of waiting forever for the CD to arrive.....item was well packaged and protected and plays fine

This disc rocks! I've a audiophile system with a HSU subwoofer, Swans all around, and I use either a Harmon Kardon 48 or a Onkyo CD Changer with SACD & optic connections respectively. Bass is tight and firm and the vocals soar on 'Life on Mars'. What more could I ask for...a SACD version of course :)...
